In his appeal, Miles Garrett accused Mason Rudolph of using a racial slur. Rudolph's attorney just denied it. If Garrett is lying, shouldn't his NFL career be over? He is pathetic. Thought he couldn't get lower after the helmet thing and then he adds that? Sorry, wasn't sure where to put this. Did not see a thread on it. Also, why did he appeal in the first place? What a joke.
I find it interesting that it took a full week to come out that that's why he bonked him. That's why I have a hard time believing that it occurred. If it did occur then I understand why Garrett went nuts. That and all of Rudolph's black teammates were right there. They might've smacked him themselves. It is peculiar that Rudolph came out with this heart felt apology a couple of days ago though, and said he's ok with Garrett. Is that because the video shows him kicking Garrett and trying to rip his helmet off or he has a deeper guilty conscience?
I was surprised Garret got the amount of support he got and people were passing the blame onto Rudolph before these accusations ....seems to me Garret knew the media would have his back and this is his easy way out...strange world we live in.
QBs are almost always mic'd up, even though they don't televise the recordings (unless you're Sam seeing ghosts ). So if Rudolph said anything, there should be a record of it.
Jonathan Williams and Nyheim Hines looking like Walter Payton behind that brick wall offensive line of the Colts. I'm glad we spent $15 million on our starting running back over Paradis, Roger Saffold, Trent Brown, etc.
This is the second game in three weeks that the Colts unnecessarily burned a timeout before a 4th down play. And it came back to bite them in the ass once again as if they saved that timeout they get the ball back with 1:30 left. Instead the Texans ran the clock out and royally fucked me on the -3.5. I like Frank Reich but at that point if they couldn't get the play in they should've just punted.
stay away from betting on Thursday night games. they are so difficult to predict I like Cincy this week, at home against a decimated Pittsburgh team dealing with distraction.
I try to stick with the home team. And I said to a friend, man I hate that half a point tacked on to -3 lines. Should've bought it down to 2.5 but they kill you on the odds. Vegas always knows.
We also could've taken a number of OL in the 2015-2018 drafts before round 5. And as much as I like Bell, imagine if we took Watson or Mahomes in round 1 and Kamara in round 2 back in 2017.
