Did the colonists back down when King George said no to independence? They did not. This is our Independence Day! God bless America!!!
Lol. I thought the same thing. Now they're only up a touchdown though. He's played Mangini-ball the entire second half.
I wonder whose dick Gase is sucking to be able to retain his job after one of the worse coaching performances in recent history?
A big part of college coaching is recruiting, which doesn't apply to the NFL. I don't know too much about Baylor, but are they winning because Rhule is a good coach or a good recruiter?
They are severely less talented than Oklahoma. It isn't even close. Rhule is a leader of men. He turned around Temple and then completely turned around Baylor from a 1-11 laughing stock to a team that had a shot at the College football playoffs if they held on yesterday.
I'll admit, Gase has impressed me these last 2 games. Albeit, against shitty teams, but this team is looking much better with a fuck ton of injuries and not the greatest talent
I've watched the majority of Baylor games this year because they've been completely undervalued on betting lines. They were last night too (+10.5). And Rhule does a lot of things right in terms of saving timeouts, using them at the right times to preserve clock, and all the quality game management things you want your head coach to do. With that being said, he lost last night's game himself. Baylor shelled up in the second half and went completely conservative without making any adjustments. Oklahoma took away the QB draw big time and they kept trying it. They also get running right up the gut and Oklahoma kept shifting their defensive lineman in to take it away instead of attacking the edges. I don't really blame us for not signing him up. He turned around a small time college and made them a winning program. He has one year of pro experience and only as an assistant. It's a completely different element. I can blame us for not signing McCarthy. That was a big blunder IMO.
Sam has settled down. I said it in the game thread...I wonder if Gase is encouraged Sam to work out of the pocket. If so...that plan should have been shit canned after the 2nd game.
Agreed. It's threads like this that when it all comes to an end people try and run from the truth. You can be critical but anyone wanting to get rid of him without even letting him field a half a roster on game day is questionable. Even before the season, it was a new offense, system everything Then, we got destroyed with injuries. Not riddled or hit...DESTROYED. I've said it before. I want to see a full squad with an Oline before we pass any judgement. Flying a banner after 8 games? C'mon man..
Lol it’s posts like this that make me question fans. Do you have eyes? Do you have a brain? Can that brain process the fact that Adam Gase was a terrible coach for 3 years in Miami? That he not only had an awful offense and is a supposed offensive guru but got blown out more than half the time. That tells me his teams are not prepared. This is the shit we saw the first 8 weeks. Great they’ve looked competent against 2 of the worst teams in the league (a week after losing to arguably the worst). Stop with this dumb mantra of “you haven’t had enough time to see him.” He’s coached over 50 games. Plenty of a sample size to make a decision. Funny though. Now that they’ve beaten two shitty teams the narrative is gonna be that those who shit on him are gonna run away? Come on man.
Gase is still a shit bag coach I’ll gladly apologize if he turns out to win a SB until then, I’m not fooled
