Fjay Barkley is a shell of what he should be the guy is clearly still hurt and yes AP can easily run amuck on us as they are committed to running the ball. The only saving Grace is that Haskins has looked like crap thus far
Well Mark if you ever make it to the States let me know and we can tailgate together at a home game. Also, I will be in London between Dec 25 and Dec 31 this year. I am hooking up with @donkey to watch NFL games on 12/29. Let me know if you want to come down south so we watch the games together.
I can't see the Jets losing this game. Dominate ? I'm not sure about that the Jets won't dominate any team with their OL but they should win.
Jets looking for Trifecta against the NFC East and avoid letdown from Champ of NY game Plus, second rookie QB for G Williams...smells like a Win but.. Haskins atrocity is nullified by Gase atrocity I predict Gase runs outa smelling salts and Loggains gets throw some more challenge fans Otherwise I have no final score prediction
Hard to say. Haskins isn't very good but that didn't stop the Jets from looking like fools in Jacksonville against Minshew or even allowing Jones to put up decent stats - although overall they did pretty well considering no starting CBs. Barkley was held to 1 yard rushing but he is still injured I think. AP will have a better game. I also think Darnold will have another strong showing. I hope to see more of those rolls outs. It's looking like Jets by about a TD to me......the Jets are currently a 2 point underdog. I think that's a fool's bet.
Imagine if it rains/snows again on that field with our bad running game. Neither team might cross the 50. In reality, Haskins is bad, our cornerbacks are horrible. Their running game is decent, our run defense is good. It's bad vs. bad and good vs. good.
You think Jets vs. Dolphins was gonna be the worst showing of professional football from both teams this season? Nah, this is it chief. No, wait, now that I remember, we still gotta play the Bengals, I really don’t know which will be the “I rather watch two old people fuck” game this season.
I'm in Scotland mate up on the North East coast. Busy time of year so I won't make it to London this time. If the Jets ever come over I will 100% be there though!
This is a road game, but not really. The atmosphere at Fed Ex Field will probably be 25/25/50. 25% Jets fans. 25% Redskins fans. 50% empty seats. The Redskins defense has been okay, but nothing special. The offense likes to run the ball, the Jets have done well stopping the run. Guice is returning, so the 1-2 punch of him and Peterson should be a challenge. Having Hewitt back would be nice. I feel like Robby has a chance to burn that secondary for a big play. People have already said it best in this thread: the Jets SHOULD win, but which Jets team shows up? The Cowboys/Giants Jets or the Patriots/Dolphins Jets? Hard to know.
