Adams had his best game as a Jet today IMO. It's also the only game I can recall he's been a difference-maker (in a positive way). He made some key plays when the game was in the balance, which made a big difference. Hope he keeps it up.

Correction: Adams already is a beast player. Not can be a beast, come on.

Yes and also an instant Giants buttfumble moment. It was like doubling down and winning.

I think Adams is too important of a player for the defensive side of the ball and valuable for the Jets’ franchise. He is good cause the run and applies pressure. Keep the guy.

While we're playing the hypothetical draft game where everyone knew Patrick Mahomes was going to be league MVP, I'm still pissed about Bryan Thomas over Ed Reed.

I wonder if other NFL franchises do this. You think the Titans fans still reminisce taking a MAC receiver from Western Michigan over Mahomes? Or the Bears taking Trubisky over all of em?

um WHAT???? If someone like Aeneas Williams (top 20 on the all time interception list, as many 1st All Pro teams as Revis and more Pro Bowls than Revis) had to wait 5 years, then Revis will have to wait at least as long, most likely longer...

One game against a horrible team, makes up for that, plus making a rookie QB look like John Elway against this Swiss cheese defense, Adams has any talent if course he's going to stick out

He had one of the most dominant games I’ve seen in a while from any Jets defender

Comparing him to Revis is ridiculous though

In the Rex years Revis was basically the GOAT as far as corners go

Revis took out the other team's #1 WR.

Jamal takes out the other team.

Yeah that's mine I took pics of. It's pretty decent quality. Its hard for me to compare it to the real thing here in Scotland as we have no shops I can visit selling the proper jerseys.

I'm pleased with it and it certainly does the job. If you are interested, this is the seller I used

Image did not come up. A watched a few videos and the jerseys are slightly off. The biggest thing for me is the nfl emblem on the front. A few years ago I ordered a b.marshall jersey like this and it was a disaster. But, at 18USD it’s cheaper than a t-shirt and most places. I can wear this thing to mow the lawn

Doubtful. Revis is walking in. Stats don’t matter here . Everyone know why he doesn’t have great int numbers.

Revis v Adams. Who cares? They're the 2 most dominant talents we've seen on defense (or offense) in our tenure as Jet fans (mine goes back to the early 90s).

    My opinion:
    1) Adams is a better talent and is far more exciting to watch. No reason why he won't be a HOF safety.
    2) Revis played a FAR FAR FAR more important position. He DID make Rex's defense work. He did make everyone better. When he peaked, he was as good as it got and made HOF receivers invisible, on his own.

Unfortunately today, a HOF safety is a luxury on a team playing with amateur CBs and an amateur OL. I still wouldn't trade him for anything less than 2 #1s or a top 10 #1 and 2 #2s.

If that play had happened to a Jets QB they'd be meme'd to death for the next year. I don't care what the stat line was, Jones did not look good yesterday and Adams clowned him.

My friend and I were saying the same thing. Bone head plays get made routinely in the NFL, but get remembered when it happens to the Jets. If Darnold gets stripped that is on replay all morning.

Revis 2009 was the best the CB position has ever been played...... and yes, I'm including Deion.
