when you have to pick up waivers and promote PS players to be starters and don't have enough healthy bodies to legally fill out a game day active roster so you activate injured players, it's hard to say that. injuries have been brutal to us this year. IDK of many teams who would survive the injuries we have
Well do I suggest & U and then U will C that the #1 pick for us over the last 10 years has turn into NOTHING & make sure to see where ever one of those picks are today
Hard watching the Carolina game seeing Paradis and now Barr in the night game... What could've been this past off season
Barr is a 4-3 outside linebacker for the Vikings and an absolute beast. To judge him on his sacks is silly. He's a realllllly good player.
He reminds me so much of Bryan Thomas after Mangini turned him from a shitty end into a serviceable outside linebacker. Decent run defender, he'll get some circumstantial sacks because of good coverages or heavy blitzes. Just a solid football player but nothing special.
the # of sacks is always an eye popper but WHEN the sacks occur is what matters most. Sign me up for the 3rd down and 4th quarter sacks.
I wouldn't really classify Jenkins as a pass rusher per say. He's a good strong side player though. If we will continue with the 3-4 he's a good player to have. He's not that useful in a 4-3 especially with the way the NFL has moved to passing on early downs and what not.
He's a solid edge setter, good in the run game, and has a high motor. He's a great piece for a team that actually has a pass rushing OLB. I expect the Jets to re-sign him.
Me thinks the reason is there is so much over rating is because the posters here believe what they read on social media, listen to the TV sports show blabber mouths & sports radio shows rather then taking the time to do there own expert analysis of the team
i mean he is a pass rusher. not an elite 10+ a year sack guy but a solid pass rusher. he had 7 sacks last year and 2 FF. this year he has 5 sacks in 7 games. He's also really good against the run. he's not excellent but he's more then good enough all around player to keep and pair with an elite rusher on the other side. bosa and jenkins would have been a nice combo to have
Definitely. I'd keep him around for sure. Just a good solid football player all around and we need those.
we could make a run at shaq barrett. he didn't produce much in denver. they have von iller and they drafted chubb. they let him walk and now he's tearing it up. he had 13 sacks for denver in 4 years and has 11.5 so far with TB in 9 games after signing a 1 year cheap prove it deal
