    Yup.

And will soon become the youngest NFL QB to ever start an NFL game come Monday Night Football @ Detroit.

Gotta love it especially once an infamous QB critic in legendary Joe Namath begins to gush over this kid.

I love Joe Namath. I hope he lives to be 100+ years of age, but he's currently 75 years old and I can only pray that Sam Darnold leads us to another Super Bowl: in order to see Broadway Joe celebrate an NYJ Super Bowl Championship once again.

Two straight third and four draw calls tell you everything you need to know what Gase thinks of Darnold right now.

Stop repeating what dumb sports commentators say....he's been 5 for 9 on third downs up to that point....yeah Gase is afraid to let Darnold throw the ball 2 yards...gotcha.

His first pass was a fuckin pick six. How do you regress from that?

Just another shitty ass USC QB.

After that INT I'd be worried about letting Darnold throw too. But you just can't be that predictable.

He's fucking terrible, yet ounce again, we fall at drafting a QB, why do I continue with the team.

His mechnics are killing us. He made plays at USC with his athleticism and accuracy. He so afraid he may never become a franchise qb. I can only assume based on his college career that if JD finds protection for him he will get better.

Darnold looks awful. I'm at the game and even dolphins fans feel sorry for me. (Keep in mind this is a team that traded for Rosen too). No confidence, very timid. I get we have no oline, but dude's not cut to be our franchise QB

And I said - I like the pick, too bad the Jets will ruin him. I truly believe that too. I think if Sam ended up on a quality team he could be really good.

I don’t see any QB in the league having success on this Jets team.

I’m not getting the Jekyll and Hyde thing he’s doing. He was there on the first drive, then he just checked out.
