I doubt young is an option anyway. it's like bosa. he's not gonna be there if we don't pick top 3 and right now I think we will wind up around 6-7. we suck but miami, cincy, wash are all much worse. that knocks us out of the top 3. then you have the giants, browns, broncos, falcons. lots of bad teams. we may be picking as high as 8th or 9th. young is likely going top 3. I assume tua goes 1st overall for now to either cincy or miami. herbert probbaly goes to the other or burrow. wash probably takes young. This draft has like 5-6 OTs that could and should go in the 1st round as of now which is unheard of and i'd love to get one of them.

I agree with who you think will be taken where and also believe the Jets will have too many wins for a crak at Young.....BUT the Jets can surprise you on how bad they can be sometimes

That is good news because if I cant have Young I absolutely focus on O line and more O line

My preference would be to not just get "one" but get "the one"

Listening to Mr. Douglas today I'm kind of sensing that he might be on track to try to do just that which at least for now is encouraging.

And yet, the Jets in all their wisdom passed on both Josh Allen and Brian Burns.

it's insane how far allen slid. the fact the jets, raiders, bucs, and giants all passed on an elite edge rusher when all 4 teams needed one is crazy. the fact the raider took an edge rusher as well is funny.

This is not accurate and I would be careful wanting Young so badly.

Young is definitely not playing better than the Bosa brothers. Literally, I mean, literally, the only thing that Young has over the Bosa brothers is higher athleticism.

The things Young is doing in college, won't fly in the NFL. He will be very raw coming into the league, In terms of development and technique. He isn't anywhere close to being NFL ready in those areas.

Frankly, what works for him in college, is the same things that worked for Gholston in college.

I am not as down on Young as I was Gholston heading to the NFL but I have a lot of doubts about Young in the NFL.

Especially as high as we are picking.

I'm not saying it wouldn't work out but I don't think he is in the same conversation as the Bosa brothers.

Two cents from an OSU and Jet fan.

    For what it's worth.

For the first few picks next year, 1st, 2nd and two 3rds, I can see 3 offensive players and one CB as a strong possibility. OL, WR, CB, and OL. My hope the first pick is either a LT or WR.

Wait so youre telling me you can get good players on the defensive line without spending a top 10 pick on one? Thats crazy!

He'd probably be an upgrade on the O-line

yea....Jets have done so well drafting OL in later rounds.
It's time to start investing in the offensive side of the ball.

He didn't make the PFF team this week but had another standout game. inclduing pushing the C into the RB into the backfield almost causing a buttfumble himself. foley looks better then leo or Q qilliams have funny enough. and he was a 6th rounder. shepard looked good to. we are really deep on the D-line. don't want to shit on Q, but just saying without him we still have a really good D-line and could have had josh allen on the edge to go with copeland and jenkins
