I feel like the Bears could be a top team with a good QB. Darnold to Bears? The Chiefs could use a safety. Adams to Chiefs? Giants need to improve the D-line. Why have one Williams when you can have 2? Quinnen to Giants? The TE position is important. Since Gronk retired, Brady could use another one. Herndon to Patriots? You know what? The Chiefs could use 2 safeties. Maye to Chiefs too! Trumaine Johnson though? Definitely keep him!
I thought it was Le'Veon, but the real meat of the matter is whether Le'Veon is really a name. Forget about that phrase you had me at hello. You had me at Barkevious. I'm convinced that it's a game of onemanship in the maternity ward. And Laveranues is NOT pronounced Laverneus! God damn it, already!
LOL. The truth is this is a smart trade in a sneaky way. By the time the OL is completely rebuilt - let's say the 2021 season - Bell would have been released anyway. JD sees a lot of talent in this upcoming draft and is stockpiling picks. EDIT - looks like fake account - got fooled. But this is the kind of return I would expect for Bell.
And after that, just let the Johnsons handle the draft, who needs GM and scouts for that.. can you trade front office personel? If you can, why not trade Douglas.
Anyone else feel that after the whole KO debacle, trading Bell would give the Jets an even worse stigma amongst free agents? I realize money talks, but how much could they honestly overpay for someone? As much as this team needs a monumental reset, I'm not 100% that the juice is worth the squeeze on this one.
i hear you....but when a team is this bad you either go all in on the rebuild or stay on the shitty treadmill. take what you can get and you'd better hit on your draft picks.
Let’s not jump the gun here, assuming we trade Bell, who s going to run? That is not going to help Darnold a development for rest of the season. Now if there is an offer that it is hard to refuse that is one thing but let’s not just dump him.
Bell wouldn't yield Jack shit, best case scenario a 5th, and that would be from a desperate team, he has no value on this team, it has to be torn down and built again, due to horrific drafting, hopefully this new GM can defy the odds and at least hit on a couple draft picks, but I doubt it.
I suppose, if he asked for it. Good point. On second thought, it would have to be a contender. They send him to Washington, and that's a BAD look.
exactly they have an OLD Peterson , a banged up Guice and a LT that they want to be rid of and he wants out
