I see TGG defense force is working early this morning to prevent legitimate questions from being asked.
Could be. Still I can't help but be suspicious about the whole thing. When a player takes a life after football business course only weeks after signing a extension then he doesn't even make it through the first half of the first game of a new season it's suspect. Now the Jets are taking a hard line stance with Osemele and leaking stuff about Mosley's mysterious injury. I think it's 'cause of what happened with Enunwa. JMO
God knows why I am bothering with you, but I will tell you why he takes that course. Because he's got his head screwed on. He knows football isn't forever and he's just inked a deal that will keep him and his family comfortable for life if he looks after it. Of course he'd could have just blown on Ferraris, hookers and cocaine.
Groin injuries are tricky, sometimes they heal quickly, other times they linger. Since CJ is going to be on this team for many years to come, I say we shut him down for the rest of the season. The defense was playing relatively well without him. He is a difference maker (see first game vs buffalo), so we need this guy for the future of this team because this season is done.
I am not sure that 3 quarters against the Bills was worth $85 million, but hey, it was a strong 3 quarters! Hopefully Mosley will be okay. At (1-5), if it is serious, might as well shut him down for awhile or possibly the rest of the season. Sucks, but need him at 100% for 2020. If the doctors say he can play like this, then make a full recovery from January to April, that is fine too. We will see.
On the bright side, it's only 110 days to Pitchers and Catchers! http://www.springtrainingcountdown.com/
It's so much harder for NFL players to take the money and run than it is to pull say a Steve Nash with the Lakers and legitimately do it. Try owning a $2.5 million home, buying your brother and mom their own $750,000 houses and then signing a $36 million with only $20 million guaranteed and making your $35 million net worth before taxes last you for the rest of your life and support multiple people. Not to mention these guys actually do want to play and be successful unbeknownst to many fans.
Mosley out 5-6 weeks with a groin injury. https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2019/10/28/jets-injury-report-cj-mosley-out-5-6-weeks-sam-darnold/ Way to rush him back numbnuts.
at this point why not just IR him and open up a roster spot? let him get healthy for next year. mosely coming back to maybe play the final 4 games isn't going to do shit for us anyway. I'd rather have him healthy and ready to roll in the offseason for next year
There's a article about Mosley in the Post. In a nutshell he's taking his sweet time recovering from the injury. There's nothing he can do but let it heal. *sigh* When the millions are already guaranteed why rush back, why risk anything right? Anyone think he'd be talking/thinking like that if he were a undrafted free agent making the league minimum? I'm so frickin' sick and tired of these mercs taking the payday from the Jets then half @ssing it the rest of the way. There has to be something terribly wrong with how the Jets are evaluating these players when it comes time to decide who to pay the big bucks to.
Common sense as always from TDK...Let's pick on our only defensive player worth a shit, I still expect big things from him
I mean that COULD be the case. But if you've ever pulled a groin then you know that the only thing that heals it is time. Same with a hamstring. It's just an ice + advil kind of injury unfortunately and any aggravation to it instantly puts you back to where you started. It's not like a shoulder or rib or abdomen where it's a pain management thing. You literally can't run.
I remember watching that play and straight afterwards I thought he looked hurt. The commentators didn't pick up on it because, as usual, they were too busy flapping their gums to actually look at what was going on. But I thought he was hurt.
