If you want Gase gone, the only way to accomplish this is to mock the Johnson family at every opportunity ... call-ins to sports radio, billboards, airplane banners over the game, bags on heads at games, signs at games, etc. Absolutely nothing else will accomplish change until the first time Woody Johnson goes to a lunch with some other rich asshole and the other guy says "Don't you own the Jets? Why are they always so fucking terrible? They never win."
As long as the Jets are in the National Football League the value of the franchise will continue to appreciate. That is more than a good enough reason to keep the team.
I'm locked into this team with PSL's but I have to tell you this team has drained all the enjoyment out of this sport, for me... this along with the refereeing in the league has just destroyed my love of the sport.

The only problem with that due to PSLs there won't be empty seats and if there are empty seats the tickets were already brought.. There has to be something we can do. It has to be twofold. One get rid of Gase. Two either get the Johnson's to hire the right guy and not get inolved or have them sell. Won't happen but we could dream.
CMAN it already is filled with opposing teams fans. IMO the only thing the Jets respond to is BAD press they just can't handle it. They are jealous of the Pats and stupid competitive / afraid / jealous of their Big Brother the New York Giants. Things could get bad in the press should the Jets lose next week to the Dolphins but I really believe that an embarrassing loss to the Giants might be the straw that breaks their back and has them promote Williams to Head Coach---time will tell. In the meantime sharpen those pitch forks and lite those torches and just tell me where to send the cash to put towards the Bill Board and banner I will gladly contribute
We already tried this with the Idzik stuff but I guess Christopher Johnson needs his own embarrassment now. It really did work with Idzik though. Woody threw a bunch of money at hiring consultants to find the next regime. The only problem is consultants collect and run for the hills after the jobs done. We need to throw tens of millions at a VP of football operations to figure this all out top to bottom. And STOP hiring with contingencies. Like hiring Idzik and forcing him to keep Rex and trade Revis. Or forcing Gase on Maccagnan. We've had forced pairings for a decade now. The Idzik/Rex stuff really made a lot of good candidates including Eric DeCosta look the other way.

Nothing will change until we get new owners. Nothing will change with our owners until people stop buying season tickets. You can sit here and complain and then write that check in April. Even with that, I doubt it matters because they make a ton of money without one person entering that shit hole but it has to start with the ticket fan base. I did it after 36 years and trust me, after a little time, you won't look back.
