I already had that in a thread that I started. Adams and Bell...

Adams, don't see him being traded though.

I can see him agitating for a trade very soon - doesn't want to waste his career here

LeVeon Bell but we'd have to pick up most of his contract.
Robby Anderson would fetch at least a mid-rounder.
Chris Herndon hasn't played yet, but he'd probably be worth a decent pick.
Jamison Crowder would fetch a pick.

I'm sure there are coaches who think they can fix Leonard Williams.
Quinnen Williams hasn't lost all his value in a few weeks.
Steve McLendon/Henry Anderson would fetch something.
See LeVeon Bell for CJ Mosley.
Brian Poole would get us a pick.
Jamal Adams is worth at least a first-rounder. Maybe more if we get lucky.
    Marcus Maye has value.

And if Josh Rosen can fetch a second-rounder, Sam Darnold can fetch at least that. He still has potential.

Why would a team trade for an older running back when you can draft or UDFA two/three RBs for a lot cheaper?

Adams is not a pass rusher so you won't get much. The return would better in just keeping him.

Considering how much offense is generated today, Jets have one of the worst offensive teams in NFL history. If this offense played in a defensive era like the 1970's, they would have never scored.

Why would anyone give you anything for talent on one of the worst offensive teams in NFL history as you said?

If this game was played in the 80s Sam would be dead. I mean no pulse, funeral service, black batches with his initials on it for the rest of the season dead

Ken O'Brien had no offensive line got creamed every game, he's was able to put points on the board, didn't have any offensive troubles

And who is going to play QB for the Jets next year? Not in love with any of the prospects coming out next year. And unless there is an all new offensive line in place I doubt it will feel like an upgrade.

Toon walker McNeil schuler > Robbie, bell, DT and griffin.
Kenny was a better qb than Sam is at this point.

I'd take Toon, Wesley Walker, and Mickey Shuler over the present clown show any day.

I agree he should take that responsibility away from Douglas. He could be conflicted. Let Douglas hire the coach. Enough with the dysfunction. Letting Macc handle the draft and the coach hire was bonehead. They should have clean house.

They aren't. Not one phase of this team is functional.

It doesn't matter who's in love with the 2020 class and who isn't because pre-draft hype is meaningless. 2018 was supposed to be a golden year for QBs, but the only one who looks even average is Jackson, who fell to 32. And two mid first-rounders in 2017, which was supposed to be a weak class, are elite and borderline elite.

That doesn't mean we should draft a new QB, but if Darnold still looks bad in the next 6 games, which are against some of the softest defenses in the league, we should seriously consider it.

I just think that there are already enough reasons not to give up on a 22 year QB after 2 years with a shitty supporting cast and unstable coaching. The smarter move, IMO would be to bring in a capable veteran QB as a backup and focus the draft on building strength in the trenches.
