I'm just about there too. All of the injuries and extraneous factors don't really matter anymore. It's not going to work and this team isn't going to play for this guy whatsoever. I'd rather cut bait now and try to renew Sam's development with a fresh start. Let Joe Douglas pick his own guy and let everyone stay the fuck out of it. Who knows if Douglas is good but I'm really sick of these forced pairings like we've done for a decade since we hired Rex.

I really think Chris Johnson won’t get the message unless a campaign with billboards and plane messages saying “FIRE GASE” makes a comeback a la Fire Idzik.
On monday i opened a second twitter account for the soul purpose of bitching about this team. It's been therapeutic to tag the teams aofficial account in rnats about firing Gase, ruining Sam mentally and failure to draft with any sense of football knowledge.
If it's visibility we're going for, we should chant Fire Gase over and over again during home games so the TV broadcast picks it up.
That's not going to happen when it'll be 75% opposing fans in the crowd for the remainder of the season.
Just looking at the box score. Sam got sacked 8 times, and you have arguably one of the best RBs in the league. He ran the ball, 9 times. Offensive genius.

Watching the Browns game. It's amazing how the Browns have become the Jets (get your hopes up and then pull the rug), and the Jets have become the Browns (pure unadulterated suckitude).
How much longer do you want to keep a HC and CS that has your supposed FQB actually getting worse each week? The most sensible thing to do - which guarantees the Jets won't do it - is to fire Gase today and put Williams in as interim, If they're lucky, they'll lose out and get the #1 pick, at which point they can use it to replace Darnold if he hasn't turned himself around, or if they believe he still has FQB potential, sell the #1 for a bunch of high picks. I prefer the latter. In any case, there is no upside to keeping Gase a day longer.
I think it’s time to flood the Jets offices with calls voicing our disgust with the decisions this ownership has been making when hiring HC’s , especially season ticket holders .
