....we won't have to watch our team lose any more games this year! We can sit back and enjoy watching our NY Jets reel off 10 wins in a row, starting this Sunday, 1pm, in Jacksonville. Go JETS!!! 11-5 baby! Book it.
No, the good news is the drugs you are on have taken you to an alternate reality. It seems really nice there. Share some with the rest of the board!
I wish I shared your optimism but any I had after preseason is now far far out to sea. Why I had any in the first place is puzzling me having been a fan for 3 decades... Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Love it. The doom and gloom surrounding Jets fans is annoying. Everyone felt awful after the way they performed. The good thing is that we still get to watch out top 3 pick QB try to develop. Is he going to be Jake Locker or Drew Brees? I don't know but its at least exciting to watch. The doom and gloom sets in for me when we're watching Josh McCown and Ryan Fitzpatrick with no direction. Even though the McCown season was kind of exciting in spite of itself.
Seriously though, the rest of the season should be better than the first 6 games, at least. I would love for the Jets to go (11-5), but I think splitting the final 10 games is realistic, bringing them to a (6-10) record. Anything more than that would be great.
Jets are the first team in the league to get all their 2019 loses out of the way! We can now enjoy all of Nov/Dec/Jan/Feb without having a bad day. Fans of every other team will have at least one terrible day, and many will have multiple bad days. Not us, were good to go! Go JETS!!!
It's pretty bad when we have to watch a highlight reel from 2017 to feel good about this franchise...… That being said you are correct. My feeling is Monday night was rock bottom. The Jets aren't a good team but they're not THAT bad. Perfect storm what could go wrong went wrong going up against the #1 defense and the young QB panicked. You are correct the Jets will win another 5-6 games ( due to terrible opponents ) but they need ALOT of work this offseason. Probably two offseasons…..
I saw it too. It was a horrible game. But they are not going to lose 33-0 every week. Darnold isn’t going to throw 4 INTs every week - he is going to be a very good QB for a long time (with the right coaching). This is the same team that beat a good not great Dallas team the very week before. The Jets will finish with probably 6 wins. That is a bad team but not historically bad.
