Rather they shed that fat ass Leo.

He's twice as much dead weight as Robbie...

Why should a team that sucks at drafting covet draft picks so much?

So here we have a undrafted free agent who has worked his butt off as a professional, has far overachieved what was expected of him, one of the few players they've hit on yet they're willing to trade him away for more picks that they'll probably blow.

The ol' build through the draft mumbo jumbo one thing about that ya gotta be good at drafting for that strategy to work.

You guys love Robby and I've never understood why. I'd send him. He's a great complementary piece to have on a good team. He is not and never will be a top WR to build around

Because he's a one hit wonder receiver who runs shitty routes and gives up on plays. His one season reminds me a lot of the rookie year of Michael Clayton with the Buccaneers back in the day. He burst into the scene and made lots of big plays and it was never replicated.

Not to mention he's a dude who already has a lot of attitude problems for someone who hasn't accomplished a ton in this league. He can only catch deep outs and fly routes. Anything over the middle he drops when he gets hit and he's a fumble waiting to happen on any sort of screen or crossing route that involves linebackers. There's a reason he doesn't run a lot of those.

Because they delude themselves into thinking they can actually build a team through the draft.

Sam constantly under throws him. Even the long td against Dallas was poorly placed...
He almost lead Robby to the safety instead of leading him on a straight line towards the endzone.
Bottom line...after the ghosts comment i question his heart. Besides that he's from USC...they don't produce pro qb's.

I have zero problem trading a guy like Anderson as I think many people NOT MYSELF believe that he is more/ better than he really is BUT our problem is the only WR worth a damn is Crowder and we are so weak at the position.

This is spot on too. I'm all for unloading players we won't resign especially when I think they'd net more than they're worth. Which I think is true about this kid. But our wide receiving core is so thin and we need to support our young quarterback.

I never understood why we didn't bring back Deontay Burnett. The guys no world beater but the ten catches he had, he fought for the ball. Sam looked comfortable with him and 7/10 of his receptions went for first downs. He played with Sam and caught 150 balls from him in college.

i’m glad that most people are smarter than me and they just ignored this post but I can’t do it. What a terrible post. Not as bad as probably your most famous thread, the one about how Jamal Adams stinks, but this is still pretty bad.

I don't understand what people think about good deep ball throwers and big plays. Do they think every big play that's made is a perfect 50 yard loft where the receiver catch and finishes the run for a 75 yard touchdown?

The majority of deep balls are underthrown, or thrown high on purpose to let their 6'3" receiver go get it over the 5'10" corner.

If the ball isn't in the bread basket for Anderson he just stops running. Go watch how AJ Green, a guy with a similarly thin frame as Anderson, outcompetes defensive backs for big plays.

I'm good to trade Robby, assuming we get a 2nd or 3rd for him.

He's a good WR, but he isn't going to break a game, he's also not a cornerstone player.

Joe Douglas needs the most draft capital possible heading into the 2020 draft if we are ever going to get serious

Anderson is a deep ball guy. Doesn't mean he's incapable of other things but that's where his strength is. He is a less physical torrey smith. A less elusive desean jackson. A more expensive marquise goodwin.

All of those guys are luxury pieces for a largely complete team. The jets are not even in the same zip code of being a complete team. If they can get something for him that helps build the team long term they should do it.

Don't think trading Robby is a good idea. This would hurt Sam's development. While I don't think he's a number 1 WR, he's a good WR to have. He'll probably sign a contract similar to Enunwa's (with more guaranteed money). Bring in a guy like Jerry Jeudy with our 1st pick and now you have a potential number 1 WR to go with a deep threat in Robby, a slot guy in Crowder, a good TE in Herndon plus Bell. That's an offense that can scare opposing defenses.

I'd move him for a second. I'd need to hear a good argument for a third. I don't think he's amazing or anything, but he is the best receiver Sam has to work with, and I think now more than ever, Sam needs at least a semi-quality option.

Having said that, I understand that every extra pick is a potential offensive lineman that will help Sam's game more than any WR lol.

I know Sam is at least partially at fault, but those free rushers have to be blocked.
