How does this even happen? I get that Darnold has always had issues, and the Pats defense is very good. But until tonight, he looked like a promising young QB. Maybe someone who would always be prone to dumb turnovers like Cutler, but not like this. If I didn't know any better, I'd think someone drugged him before the game.
Ugh on StubHub the cheapest tix for Jets @ MIA are $38, hopefully after this game officially ends the prices will drop
People are still here? Hi. Just wanted to say. This is what it looks like for a dumbass owner to hire a dumbass FAILED HC to develop a promising QB, but then ruin him. This is how you ruin a promising QB. Hope everyone remembers the overall process, instead of thinking Darnold was always shit. He showed promise.
I would give him a very thorough medical examination to make sure he doesn't have a mono-related complication.
We need to build a good OLINE around him to see how he plays. Even Manning in beginning of his career had bad games.
I’m flying down to that game with a bunch of friends. We are going wait until last minute to buy game tix. Prices should drop. Will prob get club seats cheap
Darnold is fragile as hell if this one game is going to derail his entire career. Enough with blaming the coaching staff. This game is more on the QB. Darnold needs to man up and learn from this beatdown and not be coddled.
Come to think of it, one of the long-term symptoms of mono is chronic fatigue. Wouldn't surprise me if last week's game triggered it. This is 100% speculation, but I've had chronic fatigue before, and this is how I looked when I had it.
