I feel like the Pats always kill us with RBs out of the backfield. If Mosley plays, it would be a big boost to the defense. I also think Cashman is fast enough to stick with James white (who will probably have 8 catches) As for as the offense goes, I think hitting some intermediate/seam routes will help to loosen the linebacker to make some room for Bell. It's going to take a lot to put a dent in that Pats D, but we have to be smart and take our shots when we can. I would assume Gilmore will be on Robby, so Crowder will become very important in the passing game. Wish Herndon was playing
I've been saying it since last week - James White is a killer. 3rd and 4-6 the ball is going to White on one of those stick option routes. I swear to god last week vs the Giants White had 7 catches and they all went for 5-6 yards and 1st downs on 3rd down.
true on James White as a player/talent. But knowing how Belichick operates in NE, if White had a big game last week that means he won't see the field tonight just so they can get the Jets to waste their prep time on him.
Normally I would agree, but James White has 23 catches for ~150 yards over the last 3 weeks. He's on pace to catch over 90 balls IIRC. He is a huge part of that offense and keeping the chains on the move.
Like the Yankees, the Jets will not be able to capitalize on opportunities and lose a competitive game. I'm thinking 20-14.
