Those back shoulder throws to Robby are just as good sex.

This is why I keep saying he will have a 1000+yard season but always something has got in the way, be it a damned coach ignoring him for three weeks like last year and the start of this year has been chaotic in all manner of ways, barely any looks, two wild throws by an ill Sam week 1 and then yeah baby at last hit in stride and 92 yards, more of this please, 30-40 yarders will be fine also lol

he would have had a 1k season with mccown throwing to him if mccown didn't get hurt making petty start for 4 games. mcown has never had a 1k yard WR in his career

I still think he could hit 1k this year for sure. The Jets have 11 games to play and he needs 744 yards to do it, and Sam always finds him for some solid gains downfield like those 2 back shoulders he caught last week that were pure ecstasy.

Exactly, that was the season he got a bit of a hard time for some phantom drops and being two skinny but even though Petty made people notice Anderson in the preseason with the bombs he caught he couldn't deliver in the real games and the season was over, stuck on 941 very frustrating.
Bates then fucked about one good game with 100+ and 2tds in week 6 the other td in game 1, but he wasn't getting many looks, then he missed two games also and didn't start in 5 others, he then exploded on Sam's return ending 752.

He really should be going for his third straight 1000+ season imo

yeah robbys stat line would be much better under decent circumstances for sure. the issue isn't him by any means. not saying he's elite but he is a WR1 people here as always just love to hate on our won players based solely on stats. I sweat 90% of people here don't even watch games

The Jets need Robby to be a big part of the offense if they are going to turn around this season.

That 92 yards TD the threat of that needs to be a part of the offense every week.

It boggles the mind how the Jets waited that long to get him the ball, it boggles the mind how with a deep threat like that teams could still stack the box against Bell and get away with it.

They'll need him to have a big game to beat the Patriots. He's struggled mightily against the Pats, they rough him up play him very physical but he has the talent and speed to beat Gilmore.

Really? It boggles your mind that statuesque, mediocre armed Luke falk couldn’t get the ball to Robbie deep? have you tried putting more thought into it?

In all fairness to that, there shouldn't be a player classified as a QB that is actually on a squad that can't throw a ball 50 yards, hell there will be boys down the park that can give it a heft.

Have you seen Falk's record for Washington State, now I have no idea what level that is but he had a 68.3pct and nearly 150000 yards, he didn't get those 5 yards at a time did he lol

He looked utter garbage for us though that is a fact that can not be denied it is the why you have to wonder about, throwing a ball in the pro's can't be much different than throwing it at college, I appreciate that you have less time and the D's are a lot better but fuck he looked like he had never thrown a ball in his damned life.

If Luke Falk not getting Anderson the ball, "boggles the mind", you might need to get your mind checked.

    Ryan Leaf
    JaMarcus Russell
    Todd Marinovich

There are quite a few QB busts that looked great in college and suck complete ass in the NFL.

Pair inadequate NFL talent with a shady offensive line and you get Luke Falk

you still have to be able to process what the defense is giving you. He was totally incapable of doing that on an NFL level. He knows the offense but he couldn’t comprehend how to apply that to what would be the open man on a certain play.

You can’t look at the record , look at the tape: A lot of short throws that went for good yardage in a conference that wasn’t known for its defense.
And I liked falk as a developmental qb coming out. Though he saw the game well, his head moved , scanned the field made good decisions. But it’s obvious this level is just too fast for him.

The problem wasn't Falk's arm, it was his eyes and the clock in his head. That Washington State offense is the one that wrote the book on the air raid system. Get the ball out quickly, one read, easy on QBs.. It's always a tough adjustment for QBs in that system to adjust to the NFL. We are seeing it weekly with more talented guys than Falk.

the GM/front office and coaching staff fucked up. they should've brought in a better backup, a veteran, in general, but especially after the Cleveland game. Instead the season is pissed away now because they thought they could get by with Falk

Fair enough, I don't see any college football so no nothing, you just presume that anybody competent at QB could actually throw a ball a decent length at any level of the game, you would have thought Gase would have seen the faults at Miami, it isn't like they had a group of excellent QB's.

I always feel for them as it is the end of a dream for him really, no real comeback even if it meant being a career back up for 10 years and earning a good wage.
