First up: TNF, Chiefs vs Broncos. 3rd week in a row watching the Chiefs, maybe this is the game where they'll get back to plaing like "the Chiefs" and win a fucking game, else this will be a turd.
I'm not even sure what that fake was designed to do...was it a pass, and no one bothered to get open?
Did these fucking morons seriously run a qb sneak with Mahomes' tender ankle and get him hurt? Am I really seeing this?
If this is going to be Matt Moore vs Joe Flacco the rest of the way, I better queue up Netflix or something.
Mahomes reported to have a dislocated kneecap, but not fractured and no apparent ligament damage at this time. MRI tomorrow to be sure. Even if there isn't any damage it's a 3-to-6 week recovery time. https://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/article236390908.html
Which means we'll get to see Matt Moore run the Chiefs offense. Which in turn will tell us how valuable Mahomes actually is to the Chiefs.
I had big money on the Chiefs last night and when Mahomes got hurt I said fuck my life I can't do anything right but somehow I was bailed out by the defense
Flacco was a disaster in this game. I don't know how he managed not to see those rushers coming his way to get sacked that many times, they were right in front of him.
He looked like an old boxer who was punch drunk. If it was a fight the refs would have stopped it. It's time for him to retire.
They blew their golden opportunity last year. They're not beating NE in Foxboro. I don't see any team in the AFC posing a serious threat to New England. In the NFC I see two or three teams I think are capable of doing it.
I heard the living legend Mike Francesa on Friday one of his weekly picks was San Francisco running up the score on Washington this week. I don't see the Niners as being that type of team yet. I need to see more a lot more.
Now PFT has San Francisco as one of their two "best bets" for this weekend. I'll admit the 49ers have surprised me so far this season but I still don't see them as a automatic W, run up the score type of team on the road, on the East Coast. They're not New England. We'll see how they do.
