Fuck it! @Brook!, I'm calling this one bud! We beat New England on National TV with Sam Darnold lighting it up!
I swear to God. My only fear is the refs. Jets will win Monday night if refs call a clean game. My pledge is still valid. Win against Pats and Giants and I am running naked in Madison,NJ and bringing @GQMartin with me
Falco capitalized words in his thread title that were lower-case in Brook's title, so if we could just get that cleaned up that would be great.
This really would be a nice spot for Darnold to lift his hind leg and really mark out some territory. Not neccesarily predicting it or confident it will happen but some signature performance and a big win over the Patriots here especially after his fantastic return last week would really be something to build on. The new sheriff has arrived in town moment.
Sam Darnold and Jamal Adams have me excited for every game when both healthy. A Franchise QB as a leader who's super fun to watch and one who's insanely young and a freakish generational safety as the face of our defense, I love it. Sam Darnold and Jamal Adams. Two great leaders to build a contender around. These two give me hope.
Might as well stay with tradition then. We have no chance of beating them, according to some of you last time, we only got the two defensive scores so we covered the spread and helped the bookies out. 35-13
Amazing how 2-4 sounds so good. Honestly I’d feel more confident if it was a Sunday 1pm game but as is on Monday night football I have some hope. I’ll take that. Let’s go Jets!
At least with Sam we have a punchers chance... we’re home crowd should be going crazy After the Dallas game.... patriots offense not looking to good..we have a good shot at this game......Actually think we have a chance to reel off a couple of wins with the schedule starting to get soft
Good that he's going to try and practice today, if he gets thru unscathed and ready to rock the next few days, I'll really be amped.
I think the Jets D will do a good job against the Pats O. NE is being carried by their D. Brady is still good but at 42 I think he is in decline combined with the rest of their O isn't as good in years past. The key matchup will be can Jets O put points on the board against NE's D. I think 21 to 24 and the Jets have a good shot at winning. But scoring that many against NE won't be easy. I will be in my usual spot sec 101 rocking a green Martin jersey. Go Jets!!!
2 things I will be looking for if both are playing: 1. Mosley - If he plays on Monday night, he will make the defense DRASTICALLY better than they have been. 2. Herndon - This one could be really interesting and fun to watch. Griffin looked really good last weekend. I am intrigued to see how Gase uses both guys on the field against New England. Could prove to be a very nice tandem at TE.
Last I checked, Fanduel had them at +10. I'm thinking easy money but I'd rather go play craps then bet the game lol
