Rams are going to regret paying that much, besides, their recent problems have been on the offensive side of the ball. They'll go as far as Goff can take them, and I don't think that includes a title.
shit i seen this happening after they traded away marcus peters. nice upgrade for the rams there. they gave up a kings bounty though but ramsey is worth it
Actually it's Ramsey, Kenny Young, and "an undisclosed 2020 draft pick" for Peters and two first round picks. Unless that undisclosed pick is a first rounder this seems completely bizarre.
The Dolphins got 2 first rounders for Tunsil. Now the Jags get 2 first rounders for Ramsey. Maybe there's still hope for us with Leo.
Rams are going to have to pay Ramsey at least $15-16 million per year starting in 2021. They're clearly going all in with what they've got, but they've got big bucks committed to Goff (who may or may not be elite), Gurley (who appears to be on the down side already due to injuries). and Donald (who is great, but his numbers are down a bit due to all of the double teams). If they don't hit on all four of them they could be looking up at Seattle and San Francisco for a while.
They're looking up to both of them now. In theory Peters would have had to be paid. He is an UFA at the end of this year. Ramsey is going to be more but Peters would have made a bundle.
Probably, in the future. They seem to be going all in to win now and they are new to LA. But man, if they don't win it they could seriously suck in a few years.
The Rams are in win now mode. Its a steep price but they actually have a chance to win now. And TBH Peters became the Rams Trumaine Johnson this season. This is a big upgrade for them.
