    LOL

Mayfield was the absolute definition of a college hype machine.

Obviously very different than Tebow, but very similar in ways

No idea whatsoever. 56.5 vs 64.4

That's a sign of his accuracy. Unlike Oklahoma where WR aren't close to the defenders in the NFL the WR is often close to a defender. You can't hit a defender for an INT if you're not getting the ball close to a WR.

actually baker has big hands. bigger then sams. hand size isn't correlated to height. IIRC russell wilson has the biggest hands in the NFL and he's under 6 feet.

Falk threw a lot of short passes the defense didn't bother to cover because they weren't enough for the first down. Whereas Mayfield is taking shots downfield like he's Mahomes, except Mahomes actually makes them.

When it is all said and done, people are going to be laughing and saying WTF that there was even any discussion that Baker was being compared Darnold and debated which one was better.

Browns were taking Darnold too. It was only like the last 10 days before the draft that they switched to Mayfield

The Jets put out all these leaks about how much they loved Mayfield etc. Maybe to try and bait Cleveland into rethinking their decision. It seemed to work.

Then after the draft that SI article comes out about how the Jets had Darnold as the guy they loved and desperately wanted for quite some time

I would have loved to see him smoke the pats but alas he had his "buttfumble" moment instead.

Yeah, I didn't watch the game but I hoped for the best and feared the worst. I personally don't like the guy at all (I mean, I never met him, just his public persona), but I figured in The Battle for the Planet of the D-bags, I'm pulling for Fatty McFat. I don't care who it is, really; I just don't want to see the Cheats going 16-0 but unfortunately I think it's cemented now. I was hoping for an any given Sunday type miracle, like when lowly Cleveland destroyed the Cheats in 2010. Oh, well. Mayfield apparently looked like his chubby garden gnome self with no magical faerie talents while Tom the Fairy waved his faggot wand all day long. Rmmmph. :/

The Browns have a cake schedule the rest of the way I suspect they will go on a big run and we will be hearing about the Browns being SB contenders and how Mayfield is Mahomes once again in about a month.

lol he threw a fit and walked out on his press conference today. so glad we got sam. Wonder if the NFL will fine him

    http://theredzone.org/Blog-Descript...-media-after--dumbest-question-you-could-ask-

Baker Mayfield stormed away from the podium and cut his press conference short Wednesday after getting irritated with a line of questioning, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

The exchange, with Tony Grossi of The Land on Demand, was in regards to the Browns’ failed two minute drive at the end of the half during Sunday’s 27-13 loss to the Patriots.

    It went like this:

Reporter: “Drive at end of half, lack of urgency, something going on?”

Mayfield: “There was a penalty, so we were in negative yardage.”

Reporter: “But there was a lot of time between snaps expended.”

Mayfield: “Ah, well, when the penalty happened, then we’re behind the chains. Stop saying ‘but,’ I just told you the clock was running and we had a penalty. You want to give them the ball back? No. You don’t play, you don’t know. That’s just plain and simple.'”

Reporter: “Were you happy with that pace?”

Mayfield: "Was I happy with the drive? No, we didn’t score points. That’s the dumbest question you could ask. What?”

He stalked off, saying "Jesus, Tony.''

After the exchange, Mayfield took to Twitter to explain his feelings.
