We won and looked functional on offense for the first time in a while. I've been critical of Gase, but I'll give credit where it's due. He called a good game today. Let's see how the rest of the season goes.
I didn't expect to win because of the OL play but Sam really is a difference maker. Congrads to the team... not lets win the next game too!
I'm riding high. The Jets win on a missed 2 point conversion, great D on that play. The Cards win on a missed extra point. I'm on a roll. Agreed nobody is a dumb ass for thinking Gase isn't worth the hype. You're only a dumb ass if you didn't understand the issues behind our putrid O.
If we win the next game against the Pats on Monday night then maybe he could stay for couple more games.
I agree wholeheartedly that “the system” is key in the NFL. (And the jury is still out on Gase’s system). But players need to make the plays, too.
Isn't amazing that for YEARS no matter who it's coach, quarterback, ref, coordinator.. you count on the Jets to do the same thing. Make it a game on the second half and sometimes squeeze by
The O moved the ball in the 2nd half. The play calling was solid. We missed executing on 2 plays that kept the game close. Blaming those 2 poor decisions and throws on Gase is again just playing to a narrative. Move on we got a great win over a good team.
