This season about to turn around. Can’t see the entire team not getting a huge lift from Sams return. Spleengate about to become the best thing that’s ever happened to Jets.
May be I don’t understand the whole OL performance woes well enough to criticize it, but Sam or no Sam, why are the zone schemes we use consistently leaving at least one pass rusher completely uncovered to waltz right to the QB? Why don’t we tighten up the schemes to something more user friendly to the capabilities of this OL? Why are the HC, OC and OL coach not being crucified by the analysts and the media along with the OL? There is more to this mess than talent in the trenches. Most of us reached a new, higher level of unhappiness with the Jets, after just the first two games. Week after week we re live the painfully obvious fact that Mac philosophy on late round picks to rebuild the OL and most of the team was a total pile of massive ignorant garbage. Yet, even with all that, never before do I remember such consistently pathetic performance by the OL to start the season. Same players, have they all regressed that bad? Not even in the darkest days of Todd Bowles and his group of incapable OCs I recall seeing such shit shows. My two cents. Sorry for venting
Those that believe that Darnold returning is going to make a difference are in for a rather rude awakening Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can just see Gase smiling ear to ear powdering his hand ready to slap the shit out of Falk while reading this news.
Ok something to look forward to this Sunday. I hope the team wins but more importantly gets the offense going. I am tired of seeing less than 100 total offensive yards at half time.
Hopefully Moseley comes back, too. It’s not impossible for the Jets to go 10-2 the rest of the way. They just need to play like a historically top 7% team. The big problem, which we’ve all pointed out, is that offensive coaching hasn’t been there. But there’s hope. If the Nats lose tonight, maybe Scherzer can focus solely on the Jets.
How come? In the one game he played (where he wasn't 100%) he looked the best out of any QB that has faced that Bills D. I think the excitement is 100% justified.
Hey I hope you’re right. But putting the disaster of an O line aside, Darnold has not shown that he is the type of player that can take a bad team on his shoulders and will them to win. Maybe this is the week he shows it. I hope so. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For some reason my brain keeps going back to Kevin Durant. I really hope they aren't doing this for the fans. He needs to be 100% Period.
If only they could switch offensive lines on Sunday. Dallas' OL shows why Dak Prescott is not elite and why Sam Darnold by comparison will be dancing in a minefield courtesy of Maccagnan.
