It's funny cause I used to root for the browns as well as Cards, Saints, Seahawks etc when they sucked... The Browns are the only team I no longer "root" for. This anointment without doing a fukin thing was a total turnoff...fuk em all
Maybe im just biased, but I don't see anything special about Baker Mayfield to warrant the hype he received.
No - it's not good (9-14), but it's definitely better than 1-6. Obviously beating winning teams is hard, particularly for a young player. Darnold is barely better (1-5), but no one thought coming into the season that Darnold was already a star QB, and plenty of people thought that about Mayfield. So far, at least, Mayfield looks anything but cool and collected under pressure.
No that's a perfectly reasonable point and one I share with you. He looked at best "average" last night and he has consistently this year. He's thrown for 3 TD and 5 INT and has his team at 1-2. And the one win was against our horrendous team. The hype is fake with this one, that's for damn sure
