Kaep sued the NFL for being blackballed, and won his suit (confidential settlement, some suggested Kaep got $50M to $90M range, others suggested much less). So Kaep has fired his one and only bullet and can no longer sue for being blackballed. That being said, I would bet my house the commish has let his feelings known to all 32 owners: He doesn't want Kaep ANYWHERE near an NFL field EVER again. It got real personal between Kaep and Goodell. Yes, there are still many snowflakes and minority activists that cry "unfair", but there are millions more fans who don't want Kaep on their team. Don't forget all the jerseys and season tickets that were burned on You tube. And all the 1/2 empty stadiums. The NFL already won't show the national anthem on TV anymore to avoid giving kneelers air time and more importantly, to avoid pissing off their fan base. Kaep is the definition of a red hot potato, and no one outside a rouge owner/GM would ever consider it (at their own risk).

Please end this thread. Only negatives are flying out. The fact is we need a QB for 3-4 weeks, hopefully. There is no way any individual that has been out of the game for years can even try to contribute. Just find a body, and see what we have in Falk.
I would get him, but owner wouldn't let it happen. But looking at how things are going maybe we should always do the exact opposite they say.
