I'm no doctor but from what I read the only issue is contact. the swollen spleen has a chance to rupture if it gets any force applied to the body. Outside of that he should have no limitations.
Yeah I'm not sure on that one. Darnold did say he has not been cleared to throw a football yet though
Not that I want to acknowledge a troll post but Darnold said today on the Kay show he was 80% for the Bills game. Keep hanging your hat on Allen.
Some people here were already pinning him as a possible bust FROM ONE FUCKING NOT GOOD NOR BAD PERFORMANCE.
I found this https://www.drdavidgeier.com/mono-infectious-mononucleosis/ At least the thing we are sure of though is he can be at the facility and in the team meetings. may even by on the sidelines this sunday which could help falk out.
When your team has more Super Bowl rings than ours then you come talking shit on this forum, meanwhile you can go fuck yourself.
The Bills game was over 2 weeks ago, and the next one isn't until Week 17. Get outta here with that shit.
typical media and typical negative jet fans really. nobody is saying shit about the fact baker has been awful this year not to mention he has OBJ and landry and njoku and chubb and a solid o-line.
Or he can just fill Brady's water bottle with his bodily fluids and we can germ warfare N.E. don't think Belichick hasn't thought of this already, or tried it
I hate them, man, especially since they saw the way he played the last four games of last season and this preseason. He has an unspectacular yet not terrible performance and start overreacting.
the jets finally have a QB (at least most of us think so) and have to be the only team on record that loses him to EBV........ i would be surprised if he comes back in less than 6 weeks from now. this isn't weekend softball and its not like we have a top 5 OL.
He specifically said on the Kay show he cannot workout or do anything that can get his blood pressure elevated.
So hearing now that his spleen is in fact enlarged. I'm just saying, if they don't give this a few weeks to cool off then they are playing with fire. Do NOT force this guy back early because this season is on the brink. I would tell him he cannot play until he is about a week or so AFTER his spleen returns to normal. They will be watching the US closely so I doubt they would ever put him out there with it enlarged (or the doctor can have a heckuva lawsuit on his/her hands). But I would even use a little bit of extra caution, and even have him wear a little extra equipment.
FYI, I was really hoping he was going to come out today and say "my spleen is not enlarged". That disappointed me.
