Heck even with mono in WK1 he wasn't that bad. I just hope we put the right weapons around him and the weapons we have now progress. I hope he comes back this year, it would be awful for him to miss a full season. He could regress.

TBH, hes running an NFL offense now. I mentioned before, the guy progresses at a remarkable rate. Also, add in Mark Andrews and Hollywood Brown and Lamar is probably going to have the best season out of that draft class. I also believe he has the highest ceiling, heck the guy doesn't even need to run anymore to be effective.

Looking back when we were at 6, I just wanted a QB that could come in and play with good upside. I felt Rosen was the best fit given how shitty we develop offensive weapons. Had Darnold 2nd and Jackson 3rd. I had no real gap between the 3. I wonder how Jackson would perform on this roster. Not going to lie, kinda jealous of the Ravens right now. I wanted Hollywood Brown as well, I had a first round grade on him.

He looked the business yesterday, I guess that is what you get from a first round WR, Jackson missed him on two longish passes as well and if my memory serves he had a good gain brought back for a penalty as well.
