I was going to say "Same Ol Jets" but this is a new twist even by Jets standards, I take my hat off to them, no-one knows how to fail like this franchise

'mono' is not a thing in the UK (its called glandular fever here) and so the only time i have ever heard it used before was in US teen movies

What's the recovery time for glandular fever? If it is any shorter, we will just say Sam has that instead! ;)

Like most people, I was pretty sure we were going to win the division this season.
Even after the Pats picked up AB, I thought we were the better team.
    But now ... I just don't know.
    I. Just. Don't. Know.

according to the NHS "You should feel better within 2 to 3 weeks. Some people might feel extremely tired for months." - this is the Jets so I will go with option 2

I’m on the Darnold express train man.

I had high hopes for Luke but I was wrong, he just can’t make the transition at this point and is not going to last in the NFL too much longer.

It seems Gase likes Falk a lot, he has been dragging him along so far.

Unfortunately this Oline will get anyone who is the QB killed, expect Trevor to get hurt Monday night and Falk who is less mobile than Brady will probably see the inside of an ambulance by the time the game is over.

I can hope that Falk comes in and shines but that would mean something good happening for the Jets and it’s just not in the cards for them.

The only thing Trevor is ripping up is his jersey, behind this oline he is going to be running around like a chicken with its head off, he’s exposed to a new scheme and no time to practice, at least Falk knows the scheme from his time with Gase in Miami last year.

Is Cataract a sign of Mono? Cause he missed some wide open receivers, I guess he couldn’t see them.

I am not a superstitious person. I’m not even a religious person. But yeah, I have to agree this team is absolutely cursed.

    Some positives for me

He MUST have already been suffering from this on Sunday. Explains part of his poor performance.

I had mono in high school and I’ve never been so weak and tired in all my life. Took a month.

    Rest up Sam

Other positive is the O line hopefully gets better during his time off.

And lastly the 1-7 start won’t be part of his resume

(Even if he was in they probably go 1-7 but now he’s clean)

    Other than that this sucks

Well I don't know about the rest of you but I feel as though I'm now one of the nations foremost experts on mononucleosis.

I really thought this was the year that Darnold proved he was a franchise qb. Turns out he would rather make out with his baby sitter in the back row of a movie theater. Mono? You have got to be kidding me.

Lol I know it’s s joke but I did not get it from being dirty and or filthy

My immune system was weak from lack of sleep, basketball practice and working late nights.

Or might have been all the women
