He's clearly the #1 receiver, which is why many people have been saying for months that the Jets don't have a true #1 WR.

Anderson is a good receiver but not a number one. Good two complimentary piece. Unfortanately everyone thought he is a 1 and that's going to be an issue.

It’s unavoidable but the roster churning during the actual NFL season is giving me flashbacks to 2013. I’m expecting Josh Cribbs and Greg Salas to be added to the receiving corps soon.

I’m starting to get a bad feeling about this year.

  4. Hes more like a 3 honestly. Hes a deep threat & nothing else. Hes inconsistent w his deep routes & tracking of the ball. Weve seen Darnold try to establish deep timing w him repeatedly.Underthrow him, throw in front of him,put it right on him..its never consistent or dependable

It's been a game, but Robbys contract demands took a major hit last Sunday. Little disappointed he's not taking that next step.

I think you’re being too doom & gloom, the guy making the calls this time is Joe Douglas, not John Idzik. I’m young so I didn’t start watching the Jets until ‘09 I think, but it feels like he sucked almost as bad as Kotite but at GM.

Yep, but Douglas can’t make chicken salad (Salas?) out of chicken shit.

It's a shame. Neck injuries are no joke and unfortunately the "gift that keeps giving". Time for him to walk away

I haven't read through any of this yet (I will), but I did hear on the radio a couple of hours ago that he was out for the season. I missed why. I was hoping it wasn't his neck because that was my biggest fear. Oh, no. I wouldn't doubt it if he retires. Getting paralyzed is not a life option. What a shame. Thanks for what you put on the field in your short career, Quincy. This really sucks.

Unless things are very different from how they seem, at this point him coming back would just be stupid, so good luck and God bless, Quincy.

Went on break, checked on the Jets. Went off break early. QE is one of my faves but it might be time to call it a career.

IF it's true it looks to me like this guy got his payday now he's cashing out.

This dude was already thinking about life after football instead of focusing on getting better, learning how to stay healthy.

Someone please bump up the Enunwa-business classes thread from the offseason where some got butthurt that I wasn't too happy with that.

2 better throws by darnold and he winds up with 2 TDs and 100+ yards
Now mind you i'm not blaming darnold. every QB doens't have 100% perfect throws every time, just saying 1 pass was a little short and 1 was a little long. robby was open both times and both times were 40+ yard TDs

Darnold could've definitely played better and Darnold has to do a better job adjusting. The overthrow at the end, Robby has to run a better route and get his timing right with Darnold. Both of them are at fault.

And if you are gonna slow down on the route then you better lay out and at least make an attempt. I don’t think I’ve actually watched it back but in person there were a few of us that were wondering why he didn’t even try to make the catch. Lazy shit.
