Because he was injured and requires treatment. If he had tried to play in the second half, he could have made the injury a LOT worse and then wound up missing half the season. Trying to play in the 2nd half would not have been smart.
Injuries do not heal in less than week, treatment or not. I guess they thought we could hold a 16 point lead and did not want to risk it.
I’m all right right now,” Mosley said. “It hurts a little bit to plant, so that’s pretty much why I couldn’t go back in.” Mosley said he plans on being back for Week 2 against the Browns.
@NCJetsfan I can see your point of view and trying to be positive but at the end of the day we're the Jets and everything turns to shit ... so I can't really blame fans for being down, and thinking so negatively, because at the end of the day it usually turns out that way ...
Between the Mets and the Jets blowing late leads it's taking a toll on me to try and stay sane ... was Diaz on the defense yesterday ??? he must have been ! At the end of the day if we make the kicks we win the game I guess we are part owned by the wilpons
It was clear as day the defense fell apart when Mosley exited, which is a bit surprising because Adams should be able to hold things down as well.
I would also like to add I was a fan of Roberts at first but he basically cost us the game as well with silly penalties and shitty play (minus the kicker)
Adams is good but with our CB situation ... he can only do so much. not to mention our draft picks were non existent.
Yes, everything turning to shit has definitely been our experience as Jets fans. We are conditioned to that. I can see why people would be down and frustrated, even angry after yesterday and need to vent, especially since it's a game we should have won. I just think the venom directed at Gase is misplaced. It should be directed at Mac for his incompetence and Chris Johnson for not firing Mac two years ago, or least following last season. We all knew (or should have known) that our OL was shaky and had had almost no time together during TC and preseason, and that it's going to take them some time to gel. We knew that our CBs sucked even with Trumaine Johnson. We knew that the Bills had a very strong D. We knew that the Williamson injury was going to hurt us. I think people just got too hopeful, too excited about our potential for this season and that led to a lot of the comments.
I was calling for a 10 win Season , but from the reactions I am reading here the expectations are for 10 wins in a row Sept thru Thanksgiving with perfect play and play calling and all the Scrubs Mac signed suddenly rising to the occasion...LOL ...my goodness gracious ..lets get real guys >>>the Jets have been a Doormat for the last 4 years now all of a sudden with a handful of key players Bell ,Mosley, Sam D,, Crowder we are ready for an AFC Championship????? And of course Gase has to coach like hes a miracle worker or else hes fired by NY Eve..holy moley canoli...
