    Yes...this deserves it's own thread. He is pretty much everything for our defense right now and we cannot afford to lose him for any amount of time.

    Right now, the latest update is a groin injury sustained on his pass defended and he's doubtful for this game.

    These inurjies could linger and we have to hope this isn't serious

    Any news on if Gase will be fired tommorow or if we have to wait until January?

    Should have been fired when he kicked Darron Lee to the curb for no damn reason. Lee would have made a great 3rd IMLB. And would have looked way better than cashman after injuries to Williamson and then Mosley today. The rookie looked like dog shit you can never have enough depth at MLB and Gase kicking him to the curb was criminal I said it then and saying it again right now. CRIMINAL.

    My reply has nothing to do with Darron Lee. That being said, Cashman is a 5th Round rookie playing week 1. I would hardly call his performance dog shit.

    Should have never been hired, but hopefully will be canned when he loses the locker room after an 0-6 or 0-7 start.

    This is a BAD football team made worse by a moron head coach.

    True.

    I think they've got a good replacement already on staff in Williams. I'd give him a shot. If he could prove that he could win with the Jets after posting a winning record for the Browns, then it would be clear as day that the guy can coach. He's certainly done more to be worthy of the job than Gase ever has. All Gase has ever done is call plays into a headset for Peyton Manning to change at the LOS.

    The talk about Gase being fired after this season, regardless of record, is little more than wishful thinking. I cannot see a way they would can him without his GM even having one offseason to build the team around his strengths. For the record, I did not want Gase hired, so I am no fan of his.

    Bowles went 13-35 his last 3 seasons with zero playoff appearances before he was finally let go. No way they would pull the plug on Gase after one season....
