Yea, it’s not ideal but injuries are a part of the sport. Once people get their initial shock out of the way they’ll realize he wasn’t *that* important. There are only 4 players that we cannot afford to lose, and I won’t even speak their names.
I wouldn’t play any starters all preseason...if it means they come out flat in week 1 so be it Pretty sure the Rams do this
The guys on the national networks keep saying Williamson was the signal caller for the defense. What am I missing? Mosley wears the helmet with the green dot on the back (indicates radio) and signals towards the entire defense before the play. Feels like they’re just looking for reasons to hype this up as huge news.
Last night he was calling plays for the D which is why he was on the field. That's how I took it at least.
I think he was calling plays for the 2nd team D to be prepared in case Mosley goes down. 57 definitely called the plays for the 1s.
That's what I meant, he was calling the plays last night not overall. Still a fucking stupid reason. There's no way you don't have a better solution than that.
Injuries becoming ridiculous at this point--one has to question our strength and conditioning department. This is excessive. Tru Johnson Brian Winters KO Williamson Leo Kyron Brown Jamey Mosely This is only midway through preseaon.....
The Jets have a history of doing dumb ass things in pre-season, like when Nacho got hurt. You don't take impact / potential impact players and put them in at the wrong time in a meaningless game.
The sad thing is Cat, as bad as he was, looks way better than the Jag that played last night. Why aren't they all over Bryant? Neither can hit the end zone on a kickoff but at least Bryant can make extra points.
Every team has injuries before the season starts. Every fan base tries to blame the strength and conditioning department. Wash, rinse, repeat.
sucks for Williamson and it might end his Jet career . Same injury could have happened at anytime so not really killing the staff for this. Hewitt and burgess were pretty active so between them and cashman(who seemed like was slotted for the nickel package anyway) this shouldn’t be the hardest thing to overcome.
Damn, shame. How long was he in there for? Idk why we are trading depth players for 6th rounders. After Mosley, the position is in shambles.
Best tackler on the D, someone that can shed blocks, blitz, and run the D. Definitely sucks anyway you slice it.
