Injuries are part of the game. That is why you have to have good depth.

Really only at corner. We played 4 backup o lineman to start the game and looked ok. D line is deep with top end talent. Lbers are deep with an elite player.
Safety is good if maye is healthy
    RBs are deep
WRs is a little iffy , I like Burnett though
We need a kicker, tru Johnson to heal and one more corner to step up.

I think edoga is a starting tackle for us next year. Which is huge going forward.

Edit-safety has an elite player also

Did anyone mention that the Jets are playing well in the no huddle offense?

Montgomery looked good last night, although the line did a good job opening holes.

I was also really impressed with the quality of the depth on defense. For a while Atlanta was playing their starters against the Jets 2nd team D and the backups held their own

I didn’t see the game but it’s good to hear that the second team OL (playing as 1st team) did a good job. I know Darnold got sacked once. Who gave that one up? Guessing Edoga...

Beachum... the one starter who played. Although Edoga's man probably would have gotten the sack if Beachum's didn't.

I watched Edoga, he had quicker feet than I thought. On draft day I read up on him and thought he had like zero chance to be worth anything. Too top heavy, like many women I wish I dated.

He is a pretty good pass blocker. He has a lot of work to do though in run blocking if you think he's gonna start next year

The Jets had a major issue scoring on opening drives last season. I know it’s just the preseason but they’ve done the exact opposite. I’m really hopeful that we’ll actually have an offensive game plan this season.

I do think he is going to start next year. Probably rt and we resign beachum at lt while looking for a long term solution. Run blocking will come around as he gets stronger in a pro strength and conditioning program.
