Will they keep 3 QBs? If Webb still has PS eligibility I can see him ending there again. Other than that I think this is a pretty good effort.
The last few practices, Luke Falk has been taking the third team reps. We might be keeping three quarterbacks but Webb still might be headed towards the waiver wire and back onto the practice squad if he’s even lucky.

Only changes I could see is if we pick up a CB. ...clayborn or waver wire & I would like to dump Tomlinson
I know but looking ahead and not worried about the player they will keep for 4 weeks then release players can be stolen from the PS plus i didn't have to make any hard choices on who to not keep. a 3rd QB is a luxury, but we didn't have anyone that was worth sacrificing that luxury for so far training camp reports that webb and siemian have been playing much better then falk
yeah the CB group overall looks weak. we have tru and then a bunch of liabilities. I do have high hops for nickerson but he's a CB3 slot type at best if he steps up
It's fun to finally have a true #1 QB. The past decade, I have really had to focus on the back-up and third string QB's. They weren't too far a part in talent from the actual starter. They had a decent chance of playing if the starter was benched or injured. Now? I have barely paid attention to Siemian, Webb or Falk. All that truly matters is Sam. Nice to hear Trevor is having a great camp though.
I thought I read opposite actually. Maybe i'm remembering wrong. Falk has the advantage of knowing the system and working under gase before, webb is more familair with the team and players though. Should be interesting. the other option is to cut siemian who doesn't have any of those advantages and also cost the most out of the 3 back-up QBs, but siemian has the most real game experience. Should be an interesting battle, but i'm sure we are all hoping we don't see any QB on the field for us not named darnold except in garbage time when we won the game in a blowout and the backup comes in to hand the ball off a few times
After the additions of Kalil, Lewis etc... here is my stab. QB- Darnold, Siemian RB- Bell, Montgomery, McGuire WR- Anderson, Crowder, Enunwa, Burnett, Bellamy, Dortch, White TE- Herndon, D. Brown, Wesco .. I know Herndon is suspended.. yadda yadda OT- Beachum, Shell, Edoga, E. Smith G- Osemele, Winters, Compton, Lewis C- Kalil, Harrison DE- L. Williams, Anderson, Kaufusi DT- Q. Williams, McClendon, Shepherd OLB- Jenkins, Copeland, Polite, Luvu, Langi ILB- Mosley, Williamson, Hewitt, Cashman CB- T. Johnson, Roberts, Poole, Nickerson, D. Jones, K. Brown S- Maye, Middleton S- Adams, Miles ST- Edward, Catanzaro, Hennessey PS- QB- Falk, WR- J. Smith, T- Anderson, G- Morgan(or Braden if eligible), DE- Phillips, DT- Fatukasi, LB- Wint, CB- Maulet, S- Bryant, last spot, take your pick between: S-Ramirez, RB- Cannon, C- Toth, LB- Basham
That’s pretty solid. I’d say cannon over McGuire though and maybe Powell as a 4th rb and carry 6 WRs , cut Dortch maybe. Montgomery gives us that flexibility
