    I must be mired in the past as well...'cause my 1st thought was that Maccagnan would never have come up with this "promising signing".

    OL are like fine wine ....they get better with time

    Ryan Kalil announced his retirement at the end of the 2018 season, but he’s had a change of heart about continuing his playing

    Kalil struggled with injuries to his shoulder and neck in 2016 and 2017, but played every game for the Panthers in 2018, what was billed as his farewell season.

    So now Joe needs to pry Trent Williams lose and deal with Philly to get one of their cb’s. We could actually head into the season with NFL caliber players at all starting positions.

    Osemale, and now Kalil are smart veteran players that not only represent an upgrade at their positions but will help the other lineman around them

    What would the Skins take I wonder ? A draft pick can't be too high - he's 31 years old and the Jets will need their full allotment or at least most of their high picks going into 2020 to complete this rebuild. I understand and like the Kalil signing but this is an OL with a lot of age......maybe drafting a LT next year with a rookie contract is the way to go.

    This signing is in large part due to Sam. Ryan is putting off projects with Will Ferrell and has tons of offers in the entertainment business, he developed those contacts in the business while at USC.

    Ryan loves Sam.

    Most of us are putting off projects with Will Ferrell due to Sam. I was supposed to motorcycle across Australia this fall with Idris Elba, but I had to pull the plug. Sam too good.

    Yeah with Mac we would have heard more lipservice to how he tried to get players and it isnt always easy, etc. Truth is he never made offensive line a priority ever.

    Douglas obviously knew this had to be addressed in some way and got us the best thing short of trading the farm for someone. We didn't even lose a late rounder for this. If this is a preview of what is to come, then I am so pumped for this.
