My brother, myself and a few of his friends will be going to the draft this year. Anyone have any tips they would like to offer if they have been to one before? Any cool stories?
I would like to but I need details. Where is it? Do you need to buy tickets in advance? How much? Etc etc
Yes, don't stand in line. My cousin went a few years ago, and he got there about an hour before. He just walked right in like he worked there. Standing in line will force you to wake up much earlier than you'd like. -X-
I would suggest bringing a laptop or Ipod. I love the draft and will watch all 7 rounds but you couldn't pay me enough to sit there all day and watch it live.
We wouldn't go there to watch it all day. More than likely we would stay for the entire first round and some of RD 2, but after that we would leave. It will be close to finals for me so I will be brining school work Can you buy tickets? I thought it was first come first serve and they were free? Please give me some details on how to get tickets because we are planning on going.
Your Cousin must have connections because they don't sell tickets. They give them away free the day of... I am still going though. I can camp out.
I was going to go (likely media pass too), but I have 2 finals on the 30th, and there's no way that if I went, I wasn't staying both days. Next year will finally be my year.... I hope.
