The proposal has an exemption for certain positions including QB, Kicker, Punter and Long Snapper. Citing low contact positions. Don't think those players would agree to playing 2 more games then their teammates though, not without 5wo additional game checks added to their salary. Also would have to rotate lineman on both sides, don't think teams will concede 2 games a season.
they should do it like the national league does in baseball. Instead of having a 'D.K.' (designated kicker) the rule should be that a position player has to kick

I I think you are mistaking listing and playing. Basically, there’s no way they could do that and not have every team manipulate the rule.
Only way to make this work is to get rid of two preseason games and have two bye weeks (20 week season). Making it so every player can't play every game would be a mess. If a coach wants to rest players it should be his choice, not league mandated.
I dont like it at all...Think about the injuries that we already see from a16 game Schedule....As it is the quality of play on Thursday night game after these guys play Sunday isn’t as good...I’m sorry I played a little Division II football and I’m still dealing with ankle,knee and shoulder injuries at 58...I can’t imagine what those guys are dealing with...I know most of you won’t agree with me but if it was up too me NFL players would get guaranteed contracts MLB and NBA wouldn’t ....at least those guys Brains won’t be scrambled when they leave the game
