Not so bold prediction: Jets will start the season 2-0 after crushing Bills and Browns

Id swap starting 0-2 for rubbing New England’s face in it even once.

 

I think it’s possible to beat the Browns. I also think it’s possible that their wide receivers absolutely torch us on their way to a route.

I think Darnold’s last few weeks were better than any stretch Mayfield put together.

We’ve always been a strong week 1 team as well and we’re home against a team with a RB at QB.

Can def see a 2-0 start.

 

If we lose to the Bills in week one we’ll be finding TGG posters in the fetal position under their computers.

 

I think Brook’s scenario is entirely feasible,

The Browns will be the most over rated and over hyped team we have seen in a long time.
They will not make the playoffs and will not be over .500.

 

Will we be a strong team week one team this year? New HC, new systems and schemes to learn. Depends on how quickly the players learn and feel comfortable playing in the system. Hopefully they pick up on it quick and can hit the ground running week 1. As for Allen I think he will be a good QB in this league. This year will tell a lot given he has a better O-Line and some weapons on offense to work with. I do think Darnold is the better QB but it should make for some exciting games between the two teams if both teams actually get good. Could see the rivalry heat up over the next 12-15 seasons if things work out. Same goes for the Fins with Rosen.

 

Done. I just don't think the Jets are good enough to beat the Browns. The Browns simply have better talent and more of it than the Jets do. They also already beat the Jets just last year.

 

I would hope not. The Cheaters lost 31-0 to the Bills to start the 2003 season, only to end up 14-2 and with their second SB win. Giants got destroyed by the Redskins in the first game of the 2011 season, then went on to win the SB.

Sure, it can be done. The Jets won’t do it, but it can be done.

 

Bills I think we'll crush. Yea we did beat them in Buffalo late in the year after that thrashing but I think we want to kill them at home to really get that true revenge.

Browns game is 50/50. Toss up that I have no real feel for. Plus all that annoying OBJ returns to NY will be floating around. Even though the Giants are in no way involved in this game it will be a media narrative.

Hoping we can get out of the first 4 at 2-2. Pats and Eagles back to back will be exceedingly difficult.

 

I think realistically 1-1. We don't have Herndon for the first four games because of his stupid DUI.
