Efficiency is having 9 yards per attempt, 19.8 yards per completion, and throwing 3 touchdowns on only 22 attempts

Two fumbles and one was a terrible call, not a fumble

I like R. Anderson quite a bit, but I think his absolute ceiling is 900 yards with 6 TDs. On this team we have Bell, Enunwa, Crowder, and Herndon who will all command targets and receptions. I think Gase would much prefer to spread the ball around rather than peppering Anderson with 12-15 targets a game. That will never happen.

That is beside the point though. There chemistry definitely took off at the end of the season and it is very encouraging. I have no idea what that guy earlier in the thread was saying as far as them not connecting the last couple of weeks because it was visually and statistically apparent.

Not so sure about that being Robby’s ceiling. He’s one of the better deep threats in the league and with Crowder and Enunwa, two potential YAC gods underneath and a two way threat in Bell teams are going to focus on stopping our short to intermediate game. Robby just needs to beat his guy or find a soft spot in zone. I can see him exploiting that and catching a deep one a game. Catching two TDs every 3-4 games and potentially going for more than 1TD a game with a more experienced Darnold that can get used to recognizing Robby’s speed mismatched on single coverage.

    I’d LOVE to be wrong.

I don’t disagree with your thoughts. I am hoping for the best, but I will continue to stay middle of the road expectations-wise for this coming season. Oline ain’t ready in my eyes.

I definitely feel Robbie's ceiling is 1000+ yards. It all depends on the amount of touches and how Sam spreads the wealth. If he's used like our #1 receiver he will get his 1000+ yards. If he is used like just one of the 5, Bell, Crowder, Quincy, Robbie, Herndon, then it will be harder for him to get his 1000+ yards which is OK because we're not playing for fantasy points we're playing for team wins.

Big time players are allowed to have signature looks.

Scrubs shouldn't worry so much about having a 'look' or going on tv shows or doing tv commercials. They should worry more about things like producing on the field.

By the way I haven't seen/heard Robby's name mentioned in a negative way so far this offseason.

Could it mean he's growing up/focusing 100% on his craft? I hope so.

If that is the case and if Darnold makes that jump we all wanna see him make whoo boy Robby could be in for a BIG year in 2019.

Fake news, just where are the facts to back up this preposterous claim?

Any word on why Anderson pulled out of the NFL fastest man competition after the first round yesterday. Was it due to injury?
He smoked Kamara in round 1.

The facts exist wherever pizza is good and righteous. Real pizza will always be denigrated by the addition of tropical fruit. It is unfortunate that some may have a product foisted upon them that is so inferior they believe pineapple will actually be an improvement but that product shall not be called pizza.

I wouldn't be surprised if his agent called and said you better not get hurt on a contract year. Do one run and drop out. There were rumors that he got hurt, but those are untrue.

Jets receiver Robby Anderson came, he saw, he conquered, and then he quit.

Anderson participated in one race at Saturday’s “40 Yards of Gold” competition, easily beating Saints running back Alvin Kamara. Anderson then stopped, three wins short of the $1 million prize.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Anderson didn’t injure himself. So it’s not clear why he decided not to continue.

The source speculated that Anderson possibly heard Jets coach Adam Gase in the back of Anderson’s head, vowing to kill Anderson if he got injured during the event.

It’s still surprising that coaches like Gase, Sean Payton, Mike Zimmer, and Kyle Shanahan didn’t intervene to stop their players from unnecessarily risking an injury so close to the start of camp. Maybe that’s why Ted Ginn didn’t show. And maybe that’s why Robby Anderson decided after only one heat that he didn’t want to push his luck.
