Weird that colts took him from us in 2017. Should know some of roster. So we will say bad players here were not his fault, good players with Colts, he is responsible for....LOL
Immediately I though of Rex Ryan coming down the aisle to the tune of "Real American" pointing to the crowd and cupping his ear.
He wasn't making the decisions, could've been a really good FO employee, but if the Colts GM wants you that says something. I remember when the FO wanted Mac to get Alvin Kamara in the draft, but Mac couldn't get a trade done.
Originally the thought was Champ Kelly was the favorite for next assistant GM now they gave that position to Hogan. I think now they are looking more long term with Hogan because Champ will be a highly sought after GM candidate next year.
Supposedly him and Heimerdinger were the two that got us the third pick last year. Interesting how that trade seems to be a win win for both teams. Like someone said maybe the Jets felt hiring Kelly would be a one year thing and Douglas wanted someone like Hogan to stay for awhile.
Ballard is one hell of a GM over in Indy. Jets have been bringing in the right people for draft visits, but Mac was so pathetic at picking players in the middle rounds. Couldn't find good trade-down scenarios early in the draft. This picture from reddit pretty much sums up my feelings about this.
