Happy he’s back. A nice upgrade over McGuire and one hell of a trio between him, Bell and Montgomery.

Powell was the definition of consistency during a pitiful stretch of Jets football that was filled with controversy and generalized awfulness. I really hope we can get him a playoff appearance before he retires.

Legit thought he’d never get another shot. So happy for that dude. Knowing his story and knowing how hard he’s play played for us man he deserves this shot.

I am so happy between this and the Douglas hiring.

I first liked the Jets because of lunch pail guys like Curtis, Chrebet, and Mawae. Bilal kind of fits that mold, even if he doesn't wow you as much with his game.

    Welcome back Bilal!!!

Maybe Gase feels Powell could be a good role model during training camp to the young RBs in a way perhaps Bell won't be?

Powell will definitely be a great role model for the young RBs, and I believe that he can still play at a pretty high level.

As I've said before, I'm not high on Cannon, Henderson or Holmes. I think that McGuire is a decent receiver out of the backfield, but not much of a runner. Jalin Moore has some talent and I'd like to see what he can do, but I'm very happy that Powell is back.

Love it! Sam has a pretty good amount of weapons now. Bell, Montgomery and Powell is a great RB group. McGuire is pretty good too. Then passing threats like Herndon, Anderson, Enunwa and Crowder. Not too shabby.

I disagree with the idea that McGuire is pretty bad? Cannon? Sure I get it. But injuries aside, and remember our OL is total garbage, he's played well considering. Adding Powell makes this a very competitive group.
