All that fuss and the fucking quote was from LaCanfora? No wonder you didn't want to post it.

He clearly went to the Chris Broussard school of sources.

Jeti. Your polite way isn’t polite enough. Asking for a source is normal. Nothing wrong with what 101 asked.

Asking for a source is one thing. It’s the way he asked. If he can post on here then he can google search or twitter search and find it. If I say I heard or read something I’m not just making it up, it’s something that was said. Doesn’t mean it’s true or not but it’s out there. Him insinuating I’m making something up, when I have nothing to gain from that, is ridiculous. It’s not like I’m out here saying I have inside sources. So it was deeper than him asking for a source. If he simply said “where did you hear that” then I would have posted the link.

Multiple other people have cited it including reporters linked to the Eagles and Ravens(Douglas worked there)

Either Jason McIntyre will forever go down as a POS Internet troll, or we just got Joe Douglas. Not sure which.

Texans fires their GM. They had interest in Douglas last year. We might be screwed.

I’m not posting any sources. Look it up your selves.

Not paying above aberydoes not equal cheap. If i recall, Rex got a nice fat extension after his two playoff runs. You know, when he earned it? Show me a report stating Johnson’s have offered below market value on a coach. A report saying they are off on money does not mean one is coming in too high or one is coming in too low. There is not enough information to make any sort of declaration one way or the other. To make one of that simple sentence is made with bias and emotion my facts.

There are a few people worse than Jason La Canfora. McIntyre is one of them. We can’t assume this is even remotely close to correct. The Texans news scares the hell out of me.

Jason McIntyre is a complete joke. I guess I should have mentioned it a few days ago when I first saw a tweet posted from him. Look at his "articles", he makes Manish look like a Pulitzer candidate.

Eagles trying to ‘squeeze’ Joe Douglas, says NFL insider

The Jets have had two rounds of interviews with four candidates for their open GM position: Eagles’ Joe Douglas, Seahawks’ Scott Fitterer, Saints’ Terry Fontenot, and Bears’ Champ Kelly.

Douglas started as the early favorite to replace Mike Maccagnan. But NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo have reported that Fitterer could be a serious contender.

Not so, says The Athletic’s Jay Glazer, who insists Douglas is the frontrunner, despite the Eagles attempts to keep him in Philadelphia, Mike Rosenstein of NJ Advance Media reports.

It has been Joe Douglas all along but the Eagles were really trying to squeeze Joe and convince him that staying with Philly is a better opportunity. On the surface, the Jets job is not the most appealing gig. For one, there’s the recent history of the Jets, which isn’t pretty. Two, there’s the question of the ownership and what happens when Woody Johnson (who is currently serving as U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom) returns? You don’t really look at the Jets and think how great it would be to work for them. Sure, you’ve got a good, young quarterback in Sam Darnold, and that should factor in some. But listen, I’m from Jersey but if you gave me a job right now to move my ass right in the middle of Jersey, it better be for a lot of damn money, because I am not going back.

I think if Douglas comes here, he'll give it his all. Failed GMs don't usually get second chances.
