I'm so tired of waiting for this drama to be over with that even if the Brothers Idiot hire Joe Douglas I'm gonna kick him in his ass for my trouble.
He got that nice dinner out of it, maybe that'll be enough to quit while he's ahead. I don't think Belichick even got a dinner.
WTF lol i said I own up to missing that part in the article but yeah of course the GM will always say ultimately the picks are on him as you know, that is his job. same way a coach will say the loss is on him even if his QB threw 5 picks. Sometimes i wonder if people ehre even watch football or just like to come here to bitch about stuff and i didn't say flacco was a failure but i said that was his "most famous" pick by many articles out there and that is a concern to me if flacco is the best draft pick you ever made to quote a not very bright person, "Your performance in this thread leaves much to be desired."
As the waiter approached with the check Douglas asked where the restroom was and hasn't been seen since...
See: George Young. . Took ."15 years of lousy football" .airplane banners flying over Giants Stadium and turned them into a couple of VLTs (one of which was won with a backup QB). . While nothing's a guarantee, this "GM mentality" isn't a guaranteed loser either. Ok, so who's going to pick the POFO? . The GM? . No, he reports to the POFO. . The HC? . No, he too reports to the POFO. . . . . "Clueless (NYJ) ownership?" .... or charlie casserly the consultant? .
Douglas went back to Philly and got what he needed to stay with them. $50 more expense money per month.
You put it out there... New York sports organization with 50 years of futility looking for a Pres. of Football Operations Requirements include- * Ability to handle a power hungry head coach * Dealing with an angry frustrated fanbase * Kissing clueless owners ass Benifits may include a parking spot...at least until Nov. 2020
Fair point, but someone has to make the decision, and that falls on the owner, for better or worse. On the "plus" side, they only have to get this one decision right, vs. all the other decisions that fall to them otherwise.
