Well, if that's what Gase said it must be the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, right?
I'm loving Gase more everyday. Imagine if we hired McCarthy. He and Mac would be getting massages together during TC.
People loved the Rex quotes and pressers, some even loved the Herm pressers but the man love for Gase is reaching new heights as the guy has yet to coach a Jet game. If this off season is any indication, I cannot say how many games we will win or lose but the post games should be fun.I hated Todd Bowels as much as the next guy but to to not have tempered expectations after hiring a career loser such as Gase is just amazing.
Which begs the question, why haven’t more of them been canned at this point? Scouts have a weird way of sticking around with the Jets. Explains a lot actually.
Gase is just disgusting. The man can just lie to people about his motives and know that no one believes him and just not care. Eventually this type of bad behavior catches up with him. He got fired in Miami for lying, not getting along with others and petty vindictive actions like this. There will be a day of reckoning for Gase and at that point the franchise will be able to move on. It is such a shame when you have smart people with such potential who seem destined to dig their own grave. One shovel full at a time.
I don’t like Gase the head coach, but if we end up with Douglas is the general manager then we should be thanking him for whatever role he did or didn’t have in the firing of Macc.
Wow, I kept waiting for the punch line. I wasn't a fan of the hire but like all coaches and GM's I'll let them at least get deep into the first season. The GM gets a longer stay of execution. I'm sure if this weirdo can get us more than 5 wins this season and the GM can have a different philosophy other than BPA and actually pick some talent, It might instill some hope around here and it's been a long time since that happen. They just haven't had the smoothest roll out.
Smooth roll out? All the crap can be properly placed in one individuals lap. Christopher Johnson. It's really that simple. Now he's out on the turf with the players. Rich people...they're not like you and me.
No, I'm stuck on consistency and don't find it in statements attributed to Gates in the past week or so regarding his new duties as IGM in general or specifically about Le'veon Bell.. I will also repeat that I don't see how Gase is qualified to be General Manager for even five minutes. I've stated multiple times that while I was not in favor of Gase being hired as coach I have adopted a wait-and-see attitude there. I believe he has a full time job on the field and will not have the time to spare as GM, regardless of how long he holds the position. I guess you're one of those guys who can only see the guy as black and white, devil or angel, boom or bust. Too bad for you. Carry on with your "praise for all Gase" mode.
