Here we go... Now everyone's on board with this? Look it's not about firing scouts that suck it's about who's being brought here to replace them(????) and who's making those decisions. Gase has shown no reason he should be handed the keys to any franchise. If he's not going to be the GM why is he firing anyone? Let the new GM decide and build his FO. This franchise badly needs to change the way it's structured

The timing of it sucked, no two ways about it. I’m surprised so many on here have just glossed over that fact. In what world does it make sense to let a GM that apparently the owner thought sucked spend 100 mil in FA and run the draft and then fire him after? It does not make sense, not even a little. The Bills were in the same situation a couple years ago, knowing they would fire Whaley. They had McDermmot run the offseason then fired Whaley after the draft. That was the correct way of handling it. When the Bills are making smarter decisions than the Jets you know things are bad.

not quite...they fired the coach and not the gm, they hired a coach, then they fired the gm and made the coach the temporary(?) gm...that is why everybody is saying what a mess this is....but stand by it's about to get worse when the coach picks the GM instead of the GM picking the coach.
This isnt what anyone predicted or were banging the table for. Things are a mess because our Owner isn't bright when it comes to building a successful team. I think 90% of the fanbase was fine with firing everyone. Not like this though. For me, I thought it was stupid to hire Gase, so it's looking real bad for me all the way around. Personally that is.
