Lol he’s the interim GM it is his job and what makes you so qualified to know whether or not he should fire someone.

Head coach yes. Real GM no. Didn't he have this same duel positions and Miami? Didn't work out well for him. This would be more acceptable if the new GM is doing the firing. This is just Gase marking his territory. Hurry up Little Johnson and start at least interviewing people.

Interim GM at this date in the offseason is a placeholder.
It's like an interim mall Santa in July. Nothing needs to happen, or should happen, until a real GM is brought on.

Gase himself claims he doesn't want control of the FO or roster, so he should start acting like it and stay in his own lane for once.

Is your brother in law laughing at what's going on here?
    He's seen this movie before.

Gase was a huge part of the dysfunction going on there (although I'd agree the owner sucks).
Now he's found another weak owner to take advantage of, and he's repeating the script.
None of this sounds familiar to you?

This article recaps a little of last year if you need a refresher.

Please refer to my post earlier in this thread.

I can't stand the constant comparison to his tenure in Miami. You people that continue to spread that nonsense, clearly have NO IDEA what is going on with the Dolphins organization.

In fact, many, and I mean MANY, Dolphins fans were very upset when they fired Gase. Of course, you can find plenty of articles shitting on him and bidding him good riddance when he was fired, but there is a very strong hatred for ownership with the Dolphins and a lack of understanding of how a football team works.

Again, blaming Gase for Miamis's dysfunction is not fully accurate. At all

Actually no, he was pissed as all hell that Gase was hired by us. In fact, you can track that back to when we first hired Gase and I said on this board that he LOVED him and thought the Dolphins were morons for letting him go.

And posting an article by a guy who is a Homer to the 90th degree does not prove anything.

Actually there ARE things that need to be done by the GM this time of year - rookie contracts for one; looking for usable players from other team's cuts; cutting deadwood from our own roster. And most of this isn't franchise-altering, so an "interim" GM is capable of doing it. So far, what "horrible" things has Gase done? We can certainly quibble about the value he got for Lee (or didn't get for Leggett) but that's small potatoes.

I don't get the anger and fear expressed over Gase at this point - and that's coming from a paranoid Dark Sider.

I'm not gonna continue going back and forth with you on this. I've lived in Miami my entire life. I have been to more Dolphins games than I can count, considering my brother in law has been a season ticket holder for YEARS. I have been to their training facility at Nova University multiple times.

I only say this because I KNOW what the fans think down here and I KNOW what I have witnessed for years. You can't make me believe that Adam fuckin Gase was the cause of their dysfunction when that organization has been fuckin up for longer than I can remember.

    Whatever.... I’m over complaining

Not like Gase Is breaking down the highly esteemed organization of a perennial playoff team / super bowl contender

Team and org are pure trash so fuck it. Have the passion and desire to make it what you need to win. Success or Failure is in your hands. At least this guy gives a shit.

And to anyone complaining, shut it
Including that cork soaking punk manshit mehta

It's just ignorant to base your entire view about an individual on articles you read. This topic I know first hand. I live in Miami. I see what the fan base says. Almost all of my friends are Dolphins fans.

It's equivalent to a Miami fan reading Rich Cimini and Manish Mehta for all of their Jets news. It makes ZERO sense.

This is EXACTLY how I look at it, which is why I posted what Cimini tweeted.

He's not taking a 70 Chevelle SS matching numbers car, and tearing it apart to try and make it better.

He's taking a fuckin Pinto and trying to turn it into a dragster.

If he wants to tear the shit apart, tear it apart. What the fuck has this team done in the past 4+ years that makes you worry he will ruin it more than it already is?

Just protect Darnold and put him in a position to win ball games. That's all I care about. Idgaf if Gase is running the entire show, or not. Just fuckin win
