I don't really watch the sports talk shows so I have no idea who he is, but like almost all of the sports media, he's locked into a mindset that has no bearing on reality or logic. The simple fact is that Chris Johnson did not know in January what he since found out by May 15th. Should he have known? Damn right! But saying it won't change it. Given that he didn't know then, why is everyone crying that he should've fired Macc then? And why weren't all these "geniuses" clamoring for him to fired then - or better yet two years ago when he passed on Mahomes? But since he only learned over the past few months what a problem Macc was, between his drafting, and freezing the HCs out, and fighting with other personnel, and then finally, seeing this one last draft where he again went BPA-DL apparently against Gase's input, that was the final straw. And it make perfect sense to fire Macc now, and look for a new GM when there's no other teams looking, and the new guy will have plenty of time to get set up before the season and before next year's FA and draft seasons. In other words, Chris got rid of him as soon as he could, and that's a good thing.
Greeny? seriously..... & I havent even had cable TV in like 15 years..... Dude's a JETS fans who how somehow has made a legit career being a SOJ fan. More power to him
I don't watch sports talk stuff as well, but I knew who the guys from Mike and Mike were … Greeny is the less fat one shown here.
I guess so never seen him or heard of him. Didn't recognize the show he was on. If he is local that explains it. I haven't lived in the New York area in decades.
Not local The show wat nationally syndicated on radio for well over a decade. It was pretty much on during drive time in every sports radio talk station in the country.
I don't listen to sports radio talk because where I am there is no talk of New York teams. Even then I was asking in the video who he was plus the girl behind him was pretty hot.
Yeah, your thinking local. Some Jets fans are nowhere near the 5 boroughs or the state. So you get the local sports and have to deal with their fans and sports peeps.
Mike Greenburg has been on a very high profile nationally syndicated ESPN radio/TV production for like 25 years.
Means that I still don't know who that guy was. He was nowhere on the radar when I left the tri-state area. It was Warner Wolf, Sal Marchiano. So calling this guy Greeny a legend doesn't resonate at all. But thanks to you and others that answered my question about him. He bought back horrible memories of old Jets and old Jets games meltdowns in his rant.
