They got one hit against the Marlins. This team is a mess!

Brodie had talked around Mickey job security. The clock is ticking on him. He’s been a terrible manager this much is true but Brodie my dude you put together this roster.

BVW isn't going to fire himself, so it's pretty obvious who will get fired. That in and of itself is not a problem (since it's been obvious from day one that Callaway is in way over his head), but it's also not going to fix everything that is wrong with this team.

Mickey Callaway: No personal catcher for Jacob deGrom

I don’t get this. If In five starts with Ramos as the catcher, deGrom has pitched to a 5.33 ERA. In three games with Nido behind the plate, deGrom has pitched to an 0.43 ERA. If he feels more comfortable with Nido why not just let Nido catch for him? It isn’t like Ramos is hitting. Ramos would still be the starting catcher but just get to rest every 5th game.

It also isn’t like a pitcher having a personal catcher is some foreign concept. Many pitchers have had it their way when it come to catchers.

If there was a player on the team that has earned certain concessions it would be Jacob.

Take Cano out of the game. Shouldn't play the rest of the game.

I just took a peek on what Jarred Kelenic is doing in A ball and so far so good with him. Watch him end up being a stud. haha

If they lose this game and end up getting swept by the one of the two worst teams in baseball (with the Orioles) I would put it at at least 70/30 that he won't be the manager by the start of their next game.

Callaway has clearly gotten into the "defiant leader" stage of his denouement, where he remains "true to his philosophy" as he is ushered out the door.

I missed it - what happened? An injury, or another clown move by him?

Well, we'll find out if I'm right, as the Mets complete being swept by the incredibly bad Marlins.

Must not have seen him play for the Yankees because he was the same lazy, nonchalant, often times looks like he's in a daydream player. People just didn't bark at him about it as much because he could hit.

It's so obvious how far over his head he is. Great plan, hitching your wagon to Robinson Cano, but not Jacob deGrom, Mickey. That'll work out well.

I can't believe they got swept by a team that was on pace to set the all time futility record for a season. They really need to ax Callaway. He's been horrible since day 1.

Brodie press conference says Callaway ain’t going anywhere.

“The Mets have placed Seth Lugo on the IL with right shoulder tendinitis”

Oh and Yoenis Cespedes has ankle fractures after ‘violent fall’ on ranch.

Brodie didn’t seems to want to be 100% on whether he was doing something reckless. I’m sure they are gonna try to investigate ways they can wiggle out of his contract. I bet he was doing something stupid.
