The first time the team gets beaten badly or on a bit of a losing streak, watch closely how the dynamic plays out. If its a typical Jets season, it could really get ugly by the end of it.
Ok I feel your pain bro. Down here in NC I get bashed by Efffing Skins, Cowboys and most of all the few Jets fans I know.. all the freaking time... Suggesting I should stop crying and leave my fandom because the team is "Always" heading in the right direction. Well... I guess I'm 2 stupid to jump 2 another team and the Jets are just 2 stupid.
I'm certain that Chris Johnson didn't "decide" to do a half-assed job. He did the best he could. IMO the important thing is that he came to the right decision and made the right move. He may have needed some help from Gase to do it, but that's ok with me, as long as Mac is gone. It was still the right move. I don't give a flying flip what the talking heads in the media or fans of other teams think or say about the Jets. Besides, it's not like the Jets haven't given others plenty of reasons to mock them over the years. If the Jets come out of the gate playing smart, tough football and win, those talking heads will shut up and they'll jump on the bandwagon. As I've said to others, I can understand getting annoyed and driven crazy by the moves the Johnsons make and the way they do things, but it really is no different than the way Leon Hess did things. In some ways it's probably better. We all have our breaking point in terms of what frustrates us or how much we can stomach, then we go back to being hopeful, because without hope, there is nothing.

So, when someone posts something that you've disagreed with in the past, are you not allowed to counter their argument? If someone is creating threads all the time about the same thing, okay, point taken, But simply responding to differing POVs, how is that "whining"? Or to put it another way, when people post always optimistic comments, how is that not being a Pollyanna? The point is, why does labeling either make a difference, other than to piss people off and alienate them?

It serves no purpose and its completely stupid to begin with. Contrary to the OP;s assinine points, the club could very well be moving in the right irection and still replace the GM.
