We wanted Mac fired in December. Also I could easily turn it around and say I hope the people who wanted to keep Mac are happy now that firing the coach and keeping the GM led to the same dysfunction I warned them it would.
That is how I feel, it took me sometime to warm up to the Gase hire and I was somewhat optimistic about this year, but know I have a bad feeling for this upcoming season I hope I'm dead wrong.

Lee, as a person, is the opposite of what Mosley brings. It really says a ton that we gave a guy 17 mill and then moved Lee out as well. The Jets really didn't think much of him be it on or off the field.
If you’re talking about his PFF grade, then that doesn’t explain the “great” label. If you’re talking about his 3 picks last year, then I guess we should just cut Jamal Adams b/c he is nothing according to your criteria. I agree. Go back and watch the film. Lee is not a good LB. Period. Coverage and against the run. He definitely improved last year, but he was truly awful before last year, so that is not saying much. Today was a bad day for this franchise. No doubt. Getting a draft pick for Lee is not part of that.

I could have lived with Mac being fired after this season. I knew if a prestigious coach came here he might want to bring in his own GM. Obviously we didnt get any great coach, but some on this board are thrilled to see Mac go at this point of the year even though we look like a joke doing so. Chris Johnson sounds like he is just figuring out what being a football owner is like. Truth is I am not a Gase fan and didnt love Macagnan, but since we got a retread as a head coach, we might has well seen what Mac could do in his final real year.
What y’all are missing This is literally the PERFECT delineation between Mac and Gase Mac used a first rounder on LEE Gase gave him away for a late 6th There will be an obvious, clear, undisputed winner and loser here and I’m dying to see who it is. If Lee turns all pro, Mac is vindicated. If Lee fades in year or so, Gase is vindicated. I love this clear contrast without excuses!!!! Oh yeah. This is about winning games. Sorry forgot about that.
